Comments Thread For: Kell Brook: To This day I Feel Like I Have Never Been Outclassed

Kell Brook says he knew he wasn't finished with his boxing career when he got bored of sitting on a beach. The 33-year-old former IBF welterweight champion, steps back in the ring in Sheffield on February 8, when he faces American Mark DeLuca in a super-welterweight 12-rounder, having not boxed in 2019.

This guy quit twice. That's worse then being outclassed. He's another Victor Ortiz.

Did you even watch the Triple g fight? His corner stopped the fight not himself. And it's a good thing since he did have a serious injury. A fighter's eyesight is more important than a win.
I wonder what you've accomplished in life to be calling another man a quitter???

That's true of a lot of guys with defeats. Brook didn't look bad against Spence, it's not so much the losses, more what he's done/not done since that makes it seem he's not elite anymore

You has your face broken twice and were FORCED to quit to avoid life avoiding injuries

The aftermath of these two beating led to you being so humiliated that till this day Brook cannot accept he quit despite everyone seeing it

I’m not questioning brooks heart or anything but he did quit to save his eye sight which was the right thing to do

If having your faced broken to the extent of being forced to quit isn’t being outclassed then I have no idea what has to happen for someone to be outclassed

Never been "outclassed" but he has been smashed up and humiliated. I still think taking the fight against Golovkin has probably been the most foolish mistake made by a professional boxer in the modern era.

Brook is excellent but his time is done at welter where he's been since his teenage years.I would like to see him call it a day with his serious eye problems.

More foolish than Curtis Harper walking out of the ring?

Anyway, his challenge of G will always be remembered as the fight that exposed Golovkin's only weakness: if a guy is not afraid to just box him and only moves sideways, not backwards, they have a chance. He deserves respect for that.

I think he took the fight too soon perhaps, but that exposure was necessary.

Between Joshua, David haye, Brook, khan, Tyson fury, bjs, Eubank jr and I’m sure there is others I’m missing... the brits have to be the most delusional group of boxers while also being a massive laughing stock in boxing! It’s not even close all these guys run there mouth and think they are something they aren’t, not even close, not one of them has beat a top world level fighter in their prime... bunch of massive doser wankers
