Brook made 3 horrible mistakes in his career. 1. Moving up to fight GGG. Though It was apparent that he was struggling to make 147, I don't understand why he just didn't challenge someone at 154.
    2. After the fractured eye and long layoff he decided to go back down to 147 which he had to damn kill himself to make
    3. fighting arguably at the time the hardest hitting hungry & motivated ww in Spence after that long lay off and weight cut all because he didn't want to be stripped of his IBF strap.

After coming off a loss, an injury and having to kill himself to make weight, the smart thing would have been to vacate the title, take a respectable tune up at 47 to see if you could even still fight at the weight, & then if he felt comfortable he coulda challenged Spence for a chance to get his strap back at a later time. Or he coulda just vacated and moved up. But instead he takes another loss and another devasting injury & an ever longer layoff only to return at 154 and look lackluster as hell & then take another long lay off and claim that he can somehow go back down to 147. Holy f-uck who is this dude's advisor?

Brook was outclassed in both his losses. They weren't split decision, or even decision, losses; he was beaten up and broken up in both of them. Looks like he has a touch of the khan delusions.

I’m not questioning brooks heart or anything but he did quit to save his eye sight which was the right thing to do

If having your faced broken to the extent of being forced to quit isn’t being outclassed then I have no idea what has to happen for someone to be outclassed
He quit twice, through injury. I dont like Brook but seriously, its not like a "no mas" situation. He also took on, back to back, the most feared mid weight fighters in boxing, when everyone on here guaranteed hed relinquish hes titles to avoid Spence. Nothing humiliating in that.

Kell is a warrior, albeit a ****** one for taking the GGG fight. That fight was too much.

He was beating Spence also until the headbutt and subsequent injury in round 8

Poor career choices and injury have been Brooks downfall, probably too late for him now but I truly wish him the best.

Yeah, wankers like Brook fight the worlds most feared fighter two weights up, then the most feared fighter in hes own division, coming off an injury. Im sure youd be more proud if hed done a Thurman, and ran from Spence l, relinquishing he's title as youd all predicted. You prefer getting all excited watching Tank fight an old man, or Wilder knock out an old guy with high blood pressure, twice, while proclaiming him historys greatest puncher. You're the laughing stock of this site, and the laughing stock of the boxing world 😂

First, props to Brook for going after the elite. I know his earning/drawing power helps him get these fights, but it still takes stones to get in there with killers.

Second, he should take his Ls with class.

                  Brook was an excellent fighter

The biggest mistake he made was going up to fight GGG in a fight he couldn’t win and dropping two weight classes to fight Spence after eye surgery too

If Brook hadn’t gone up to fight GGG, I believe the Spence fight would’ve been very different

Can’t question his balls though. I wouldn’t say he really quit. Not many wanted to fight Spence but Brook refused to vacate and fought him at a time he really shouldn’t have.

I hate this I've not really lost nonsense. He did well against Golovkin, but eventually got pummeled as GGG went through the gears and had he been allowed to fight on, he most likely would have been killed in the ring.

Against Spence, again it was a great fight, and I, as well as many others saw it 4-4 after 8. Then Spence showed that bit extra quality when needed to secure the win.

That being said, if Kell Brook retires now, he wouldn't be rated as highly as he should be. I feel as though he is world level. Not sure how much he has left. He was quite poor in his last fight.
