Losing to jmm and horn isn't necessarily a barrier to being fotd. The powers that be might use it as the reason why Pac didn't quite make it this time but that would be just an.opinion.
There's many reasons why floyd being a serious contender is a joke.
We will soon see if the bwaa are to be taken seriously. Floyd could win now that's a possibilty.

      You're lying. its pathetic.

You, pasawakyo, sustanon and every pac slurper and floyd hater is just upset that floyd has won these other FOTD awards and may possibly win the BWAA award. Its caused you all to make multiple threads and posts begging for someone to give an award to Manny. That they haven't only makes you guys angrier by the minute.

It is wonderful watching all of you get in your feelings. It must suck for you guys that the more you hate the more successful and accomplished Floyd has become.

It's not even close. ***** retired 2x and fought washed up fighters. PAC dominated everyone and was whooping the roofer up jmm until that lucky punch. Manny hands down.

You have to admit it's bad if Floyd wins. every unbeaten fighter, Calzaghe, ottke that thai with 54-0 and every fighter who only fought 5 years and had good 5 years will want their case reviewed

I remember a poll was made at time Pac fought Bradley and Floyd fought cott o about who had tougher opponent. Bradley was considered by far tougher opponent. So don't revise history. And Pac beat Bradley 3 times if not robbery
Show me that poll. Cotto went on to become lineal middleweight champ and again a Jr middle weight champ after he lost to Mayweather.

Did Bradley do equal to or more than that ? And Bradley had a great career so this is not to diminish him in any way shape form or fashion. He was a great fighter that Manny deserves a lot of credit for defeating. But, Cotto is a first ballot hall of famer who had continued success. The Cotto win is better than the Bradley win.

Hell, Manny fought Cotto too. And the Cotto win in pacs resume is better than the Bradley wins as well.

Bradley and Thurman are GOOD WINS guys. I’m not debating that. But is a better win not beating the guy who beat Bradley and Thurman ? Is a better win not beating the guy ranked number 2 lb for lb at the time ? Is a better win not beating the guy who is currently in everyone’s top 3 lb for lb today ? And in a few cases the number 1 fighter today ?

if he wins, he wins. When we all first stared discussing FOTD award potential winners, Floyd and Canelo were seen as possible choices, with Manny and Ward 3rd and 4th. Most thought it would be Canelo. I thought it would be Canelo. He hasn't won any so far.

If Floyd wins the BWAA award it is likely because he was a 2 time FOTY winner during the decade and no one else has won more than once despite fighting the whole decade.

Floyd was in the two biggest fights in the history of combat sports this decade, and when he and Pacquiao were 1a / 1b lb for lb he beat him. Joe Calzaghe didn’t do 10 percent of what Floyd did when he retired. This isn’t about Floyd “being undefeated” it’s about who he beat and the significance behind those wins.

If it was only about being undefeated, Pac wouldn’t even be in the convo. Not would Alvarez.

Canelo and loma is a better nominees than Floyd
Floyd is a great boxer but he's retired half a decade

Trust me Bradley won the poll comfortably. Bradley was considered the better win at time.
When your talking cott o your using too much hindsight. Lots of times people who lost to Floyd did nothing after losing to Floyd so credit to miguel. Cott o even won straightaway after losing to pac, such a beating so good on cotto. But I remember yuri foreman Injured leg in that fight , so many were still not really believers of cott o and not sure h ed recovered fully from losing to pac. I remember this only having read about This knee injury once back then so I've no problem remembering poll Bradley winning , neither does The Bigg Dunn.
This board don't go back that far so I can't show you it
