I just wish Holm had stuck around for one more fight against Braekhus.

The WBC ordered the fight twice, Braekhus offered Holm her biggest payday ever and the fight in Holm's home town. First Holm went back down to 140, then retired.

Holm lost by KO to Mathis, then went life and death with Mathis in a UD win in her last two fights at 147. Braekhus dismantled Mathis right after that in a UD, then stopped her years later in a rematch.

Braekhus vs Holm would've been so huge for women's boxing back then. Instead Holm vs Rousey became that fight for women's MMA, and Braekhus is sitting here with 20,000 Twitter followers still undefeated 10 years later.

Well he's pretty brave then if you're implying he's a blown up SMW. Pascal And Smith are pretty good punchers at LHW and Barrera and Chilemba are good names on his resume at this stage. He needs a good defining fight though to win over people who think he's either boring, or untested, or both. I don't think him moving down would present any better opportunities as the more interesting fights would be vs the 2 PBC guys as opposed to Matchroom guys. My opinion anyway.

Great post, top to bottom. Green K.
I hope women's boxing takes off with great match ups.

Well, yes. He'd be better below lightheavy, imo. He might be even much better at 160. Do you think he can make it? I like some of the skill display.

He claims he can easily make 168 so maybe but he might be too drained. Wouldn't want to see him get hurt unnecessarily trying to chase greatness or notoriety.

Then 168 is good. He should fight GGG.

                  Nope.

Most people are not really conscious and aware; they are alive, yes, but they walk around unaware, nevertheless. Auto pilot. That's not consciousness. Call it subconscious if you like.

It was also clear that he was incredibly immature and no one ever made him grow up.

Claressa Shields has that same exact personality. When she finally does lose I expect her to react the same way Judah did when Kostya Tsyzu knocked him out.
No way I'm comparing any version of Judah to an annoying, loud mouth woman. Ronda Lousey was worst with less than 10% of Shields' skills

For me, just thinking about Rousey turns Claressa into a sweet, humble girl.
