Why would he move down if he just moved up to 135 and barely made weight :/... does he want to fight Loma or not?

No doubt, boxing is most often not about the bigger puncher but power does matter.

LSC at his best was a 118/122lb volume puncher. He's never been Willie Pep (or Billy Conn). He would take shots but the "terremoto" would take over. He was still good at 126 but is not the same at 130 and now he will be facing a guy who is a heavy handed fighter who has difficulty making 135.

If LSC's skillset was that of a more elusive boxer, his chances would be better. But we aren't comparing LSC to Billy Conn (nor are we comparing Tank to the Brown Bomber).

LSC is a champion in a fairly good division. There are plenty of good fights at 130

There is also the GRJ fight that still hasn’t been made, which is a joke

They really want to sacrifice him to Davis and hope fans will see this as a stellar win, at 135lb? A bit of a risk I think

Tank's best win is Jose Pedraza, and Santa Cruz actually has the height and reach advantage over Davis. If Tank Davis is a "clown waiting to be exposed like Broner before him" then the fight shouldn't be a mismatch.

I think that Leo Santa Cruz is banking on Davis being explosive early and then gassing out. Perhaps he feels like he can weather the storm and then take over with volume punching. Maybe he's right. Or maybe he gets bombed out early. Either way I wouldn't mind the fight. 130 would be ideal but if LSC signs for 135 then he has less weight to cut also.

Don't waste your money on this garbage.

Tank fighting guys from 126 when he's in a division with plenty of talent. Another hype job fraud.

Styles make fights. I see the Davis/Cruz fight as Floyd against Corrales and Gatti all over again. Davis will punish Cruz if he comes forward, tailor made for his power shots. I predict a massacre in the ring.

Would be lucky to get 50k buys... ppv needs to go away. Dazn albeit green has given the best value by far when it comes to boxing content.

Davis should be testing himself against the top 10 guys at 135. Campbell, Easter, barthelemy, fortuna would all be good litmus tests.

2 weight classes for a light punching FW? One look at them frame wise says it all. Broner was good when he was the larger fighter with power and speed advantages same goes for Davis, once those are gone he will be exposed. Guess what though? It happens at LW, after that trash performance against an old one legged Gamboa is all I need to say to call this. This is why Ellerbe and Floyd are hoping to have LSC come up, he has a decent name in the sport and it satisfies clowns like you to keep buying the hype.
