Why do you hope he doesn't fight a Mexican?

Because he can make his own name without a Mexican. Davis is the most talked about American boxer now, close to none. I don't think he needs a Mexican to make his name (the prevalent myth). He has already overshadowed Spence during Spence's hiatus.

I think he'd give him some trouble but it'd be because Cruz is pretty skilled and throws a lot of punches. Not because of his physical dimensions, IMO.

Not sure how many hard punches Cruz can take from Davis. I don't mind seeing it at 130.

What a sh it fight for a PPV. Funny now remembering someone recently saying Davis didn't need a Mexican to draw numbers. I guess that didn't last very long. This fight will do sh it numbers but any numbers it does will be thanks to the Mexicans. lol.

live gates and ppv sales are two different things. its a lot easier to fool people on the ground. look boxing! look he knows floyd! people with access to the internet can be like wait who is this guy who has fought nothin but bums hmmm i dont think i will tune in

watch his boxrec and find what's not to like. you wont find good opponents but we are all so happy they are raking in the money with garbage content. you like thr transformers movies too? made lots of money must be great!
