As much as we didn't ask for this one, this a very good matchup. Nyambayar can fight & can punch. He may not be well known & not have that many fights, but he has shown that he is a really good boxer that likes to put pressure & is definitely not a pushover. GRJ is in for a real fight in 2020.

      Huh

Russell is a great fighter why doesn’t he get the big names?
I feel like he doesn’t fight enough and it’s mostly against mandatories

it's sad watching Russell Jr. waste his career by inactivity and meaningless fights. This guy should be mixing it up with the other top guys and making decent money, i don't know whose fault it is but it's a very common phenomenon now in boxing and it's depressing really.

          This isn't a meaningless fight.

With Santa Cruz gone, this is likely the best opponent in the division besides Warrington or Stevenson.

Russell is another example of wasted talent due to inactivity.

The majority of his inactivity is down to injuries, or the fear of them. He re-injured his hands against Jo Jo Diaz iirc. Similar to Thurman's career, but worse.

Russell is so talented, but I never felt like he was able to put the Loma fully in his rearview because he has never been able to take full advantage of any positive momentum. He's easily avoided because of his inactivity.

Ok this guy is maybe a legit contender, but are you really satisfied with Russell Jr., with all his talent, ability and the fact that he's the WBC chsmpion at 126, only fighting 5 times in 5 years during his prime? making not even a fifth of what he should've made and should be making? you don't think that's a wasted career?

As a boxing fan, do you accept the fact that the he's been doing the absolute bare minimum to keep the title hostage? has been for 5 damn years! I don't know about you but i'm very disappointed in the way his career has been handled and the lack of pressure on him from the fans, the media and most importantly the We Be Crooks council.
