There's not enough pressure to clean up boxing. Boxing has lost a lot of popularity, it's at the fringe of mainstream sports right now. That's why their biggest stars can get away with PEDs and corrupt scoring. Hate to say it, but if there were similar number of deaths in MMA and rampant PED abuse, the controversy would explode and might get a Government hearing like Baseball did.

Sometines the penalties for getting caught don't make sense, for example Jarrell Miller should've been indefinitely banned from boxing after he got caught with hardcore steroids that could turn a mofo into the incredible hulk. He only got a slap on the wrist. Canelo was caught using a weight maintaining drug that even housewives use and he got almost the same treatment as Jarrell Miller. It's crazy sometimes.

Canelo is definitely on PEDs and many others as well. But everyone involved wants to cash in on the fights so it gets swept under the rug.

He failed a test though but because it was only trace amounts they let him off. Which begs the question, why even fail him in the first place?

This article was top notch and I couldnt agree more . The powers that be in boxing need to stand together and uphold bans internationally. Also punishment HAS to be much more severe . They listed everything that needs to happen .....unfortunately like they said money talks . I dont know if we will ever see an end to this in our sport but I know the more noise that gets made over it the better the chance it happens . Boxing needs to take the MLB route . But again that brings us to the talk of a single governing body for the sport which is CLEARLY never going to happen . What a frustrating sport we love ......all around it is a **** show , but I must say I still love it !!!

Fake news, no boxers use PEDS , they and promoters are extremely honest individuals otherwise they would have been caught by the authorities by now surely ? ����������

My favorite fighter ever, James Toney, got caught up in PEDs more than once.

I still think he deserves to go in the Hall, and I make no apologies for it. If I’m wrong, oh well. I can’t contain my bias.
