    any fool who quotes compubox to prove anything, simply cannot be taken seriously

    first, facial damage... now, compubox...

    you casual-fans continually prove that you have no idea how to score a fight

    still wanna use facial damage to prove that Lumpkin won the fight?

      the rounds that Canelo won, he won CLEANLY, and CLEARLY...

      the rounds that Golovkin won, were nip-n-tuck, and VERY close... some could have gone either way

      Golovkin was VERY lucky to escape with his titles following that underwhelming performance... especially against a superstar in Vegas... I have seen MUCH worse decisions than Canelo winning that fight
      Quite possibly the most ridiculous post I've seen grace this forum. Canelo lost that fight by a minimum of 3 rounds AT LEAST. The score most observers seem to agree on is 116-112 in favor of G. As I said to a previous Canelo nut hugger please dont mention judges when your women Adelaide Byrd awarded 10 of the 12 rounds to Canelo & Don Trella awarded round 7 (which was 3 minutes of complete and utter domination by G) to Canelo. They received 2 big brown envelopes stuffed to the brim with cold hard cash by your man Eric Gomez... If it was correctly judged it would've been a unanimous decision for Golovkin or at the worst a majority decision win.

            In case you need reminding on the rules of boxing... the objective is to win by either KO'ing your opponent OR failing that by out scoring them over 12 rounds. GOLOVKIN OUT SCORED CANELO OVER 12 ROUNDS That full body weight jab was in Canelo's face constantly and as the fight moved into the 2nd half G was hooking off the jab as well as Canelo slowed down (as usual) Golovkin never moves his head and gets marked up in most fights so your point is dead... Gab Rosado even marked him up but we know how that ended!

            The story of the rematch was a jabbing contest between the two as they stood in the pocket and traded... and... Golovkin won that contest. Sorry m9.

              Stop already... your really embarrassing yourself here. Everybody knows those 3 judges were certified clowns, everybody apart from you it appears.

              In the words of Malignaggi:

              “I think anybody with a reasonable brain wouldn’t be able to give Canelo more than six rounds. The first time around if you gave Golovkin a draw, which they did, you robbed him. This time around if you gave Golovkin a draw, it would have been fair or a Golovkin win. I don’t think Canelo won eight rounds to win the fight. You have to win seven rounds to win a fight. You can’t find me a case of Canelo winning seven rounds to win the fight. Once again, I felt they robbed Gennady Golovkin,” Malignaggi said.

The jab has always been G's best punch, I'd argue he throws and lands more jabs than any other fighter closely followed in that regard by Bivol.

                To say that Golovkin is not on Canelo's level is laughable - dont know how you came to that conclusion... he bossed Canelo in the first bout essentially making him fight his style of fight and out-landed Canelo in the rematch?! We all know Canelo will "continue building his legacy" by fighting a now washed Saunders next with judges at ready to bail him out should it go wrong but he and the world knows next it should be any one of Charlo, Andrade, Golovkin, Benevidez or Plant. They are the lions though so we aint holding are breath...
                Saying i only see what I want to see? Yet you claim that ggg’s jabs are equivalent to power punches? Lmao wether gggs Jab is stronger or not than people’s power punches doesn’t make it a power punch it’s still a jab you idiot! What makes gggs jab so much better that we need to count it as a power punch? You dumb phuck!

                  BULLSHlT KID !!!

                  you casual-fans are shlt !!

                  The main objective in professional boxing is to win each round or get a knock out.

                  you win a round by getting the judges nod based on the following criteria...

                  * clean HARD punching
                  * effective aggression
                  * defence
                  * ring generalship

                  " activity "... is NOT official scoring criteria you fool

                  here, smarten up...

                  to kill that..... " all landed punches count "..... rubbish.....

                  to kill that " defence/effective aggression/ring generalship don't count " rubbish.....

                  7.32

                  who needs reminding about the rules... ?

                  I guess I am performing some kind of public service

                    don't feel bad

                    PLENTY of arrogant (smart-ass) casual-fans indignantly proclaimed that they know how to score a professional boxing match... only to be proven completely wrong

                    you aint the first buddy

                    this is the hurt game

                    interestingly, you did not even describe how they score amateur boxing

                      Your argument is incredibly weak - according to compubox a power punch is any punch other than a jab so in theory you could throw a feather fisted hook that connects and compubox will put it down as a power shot... When Golovkin jabs he stiffens his entire core and puts his full body weight behind his fully extended arm so the force transfers through the target. It is every bit the power punch so much so that he has floored various opponents with said jab. You only have to look at Jacobs, Derevyanchenko & Canelo faces afterwards to see the accumulative effect that jab had on them.
