The guy on the right definitely has the worse cut. Oh wasn't he the boxer that required plastic surgery after staying in the pocket for the first time getting jabbed all night?

Canelo always stays in the pocket, only time he boxer and moves was vs ggg in the first fight and he still stayed on ropes in moments inviting the big and wolf in and ggg wanted no parts just resorting to jabbing.... oh, and canelo landed all the clean punches in fight one. Lmao, ggg had one good punch and the rest were pitty Pat jabsThe guy on the right definitely has the worse cut. You're correct. Fighter of The Year? More like the "Fight Fixer of The Year".

The Kovalev fight is an excellent example of how a fighter accepts a big pay check to take a dive. He fought nothing like he usually fights. He was backing up from the first round on. He never fought that way before, an obvious sham.Comment

Thats not true really is it? Obviously the biased opinion of a fan boy. What about the big counter straight from round four, the chopping corkscrew left hooks from from rounds six and nine, the huge uppercut in round nine and the wide left hook that knocked Canelo of balance in round 11? You were quite clearly watching what you wanted to and ignoring Golovkin's work. Its quite telling that said clean shots you mentioned were Canelo's best shots and GGG literally walked through them. It must be quite heartbreaking when you throw the best you can muster and your opponent doesn't even remotely acknowledge them!Canelo always stays in the pocket, only time he boxer and moves was vs ggg in the first fight and he still stayed on ropes in moments inviting the big and wolf in and ggg wanted no parts just resorting to jabbing.... oh, and canelo landed all the clean punches in fight one. Ok, whatever fan boy. Canelo landed most of the clean punches in that fight and the rematch. Ggg was reduced to a jabber and we won’t even discuss the body work. Ggg is not on canelos level never has and never will be, ggg is done! And canelo is still building his legacy without ggg. NextThats not true really is it? Obviously the biased opinion of a fan boy. History will say that canelo made history that night with the win against the Krusher in emphatic fashion! Your opinion or how you think the fight played out is irrelevant and always will be. NextYou're correct. Fighter of The Year? More like the "Fight Fixer of The Year".

Again you're only seeing what you want to see. One of Golovkin's jab's are the equivalent of most fighters right or left cross - it is a power punch and Golovkin was landing at will all night, especially in the rematch hence the awful laceration on Canelo that required immediate plastic surgery. The jab has always been G's best punch, I'd argue he throws and lands more jabs than any other fighter closely followed in that regard by Bivol.Ok, whatever fan boy. To say that Golovkin is not on Canelo's level is laughable - dont know how you came to that conclusion... he bossed Canelo in the first bout essentially making him fight his style of fight and out-landed Canelo in the rematch?! We all know Canelo will "continue building his legacy" by fighting a now washed Saunders next with judges at ready to bail him out should it go wrong but he and the world knows next it should be any one of Charlo, Andrade, Golovkin, Benevidez or Plant. They are the lions though so we aint holding are breath...Comment

FACT: in 5 rounds of the first fight, ALL 3 judges awarded those 5 rounds to Canelo

 ALL of them

the rounds that Canelo won, he won CLEANLY, and CLEARLY...

the rounds that Golovkin won, were nip-n-tuck, and VERY close... some could have gone either way

Golovkin was VERY lucky to escape with his titles following that underwhelming performance... especially against a superstar in Vegas... I have seen MUCH worse decisions than Canelo winning that fightComment
