Your argument is incredibly weak - according to compubox a power punch is any punch other than a jab so in theory you could throw a feather fisted hook that connects and compubox will put it down as a power shot... When Golovkin jabs he stiffens his entire core and puts his full body weight behind his fully extended arm so the force transfers through the target. It is every bit the power punch so much so that he has floored various opponents with said jab. You only have to look at Jacobs, Derevyanchenko & Canelo faces afterwards to see the accumulative effect that jab had on them.

He really didn't. Golovkin fought Lemieux in exactly the same way, stayed out of the way of his power and systematically broke him down with the jab. G knocked Canelo of balance a few times with it but to be fair Canelo has a good chin.

Likewise with Canelo - for him to knock G out he has to put himself in the line of fire and Golovkin at any one time will usually either be in attack or defensive mode. Their fights can only end up with the judges barring an in ring injury to each.
