Eh? Isn't caliber just even more convoluted subjectivity?
You're saying it is silly to exalt one over another even though one has a direct win over another's direct loss BUT it's okay to elevate one over another even without a direct win because he has a win you think is higher caliber than any of the latter's wins.
That's even more removed, convoluted, and subjective than triangle theory.
Why aren't fighters compared at comparable calibers then?
If Wilder has no good wins why not compare his bad wins to others bad wins and explain how Wilder's became so much more devastating than anyone else's.
Even Marciano has a Lowry. Ever bruiser, every skill king, everyone of them fought cans, but we use resume as a reason to just disregard that part of their record rather than a reason to compare only that part of their records. We just say X has the better names and so wins this comparison....subjective, convoluted, and very close to triangle theory.
AJ toyed with Molina in only his 18th fight and ended it when he wanted to which was about round 3 and was just a warm up fight leading to Klitschko which was postponed.
There’s your same opponent comparison to how far different these guys are .

He is not THE champion, he is A champion. We have another champion too and Wilder has ducked that other champion HARD and still is. TILL THIS DAYIUIUUIIUUUYYYYYY.
If Wilder wants to be THE champion he knows who he needs to fight. ANTHONY JOSHUA. But from everything Wilder says he makes it clear he doesnt want to face Joshua and doesnt want to be THE champion.

Shouldn't that tell you who was really ducking?
Meanwhile the other champion took on lesser challenges and still got knocked out.
I never got wrapped up in the Joshua and Wilder stuff because I'm a Fury fan and don't really like Joshua or Wilder.
It is strange though that people would criticize the side taking the tougher fights.

I have no problem with anybody tearing in to Joshua's chin or skill level to to accuse him of taking the soft touches when Wilder has been taking on the best is nothing more than spin driven bullsheet and seeing as its coming from the forums biggest liar i dont know why id expect a little better.
You can say Wilders been taking on the biggest challenges all you want but it dont make it the least big true.

So if Wilder is taking less money to face a tougher opponent, that should indicate he wasn't the one ducking the easier fight where he'd make more money. So perhaps the other side didn't want the fight or didn't want the fight on reasonable terms.

Fury is a great fighter but more important to Team Wilder he is a great fighter with LITTLE POWER. Wilder has ducked prime ranked punchers his whole career going back before his duck of Wlad Klitchko.
