The haters have hated for 5 years and Wilder is still the champion.

Wilder has been the world champion of the entire sport of boxing for five years now. The unified NYSAC/IBU/NSC heavyweight champion of the world, tracing back over a hundred years. He's made ten successful defenses and next month he attempts to become the lineal world heavyweight champion as well.

Is this why he is so hated? Nobody expected him to come this far, so everybody feels ****** for assuming he would fail?

Sure the trolls will cry and say he's protected or hasn't fought top fighters, but Boxrec proves that's complete bull****. Until recently, he was #1 in the world in the computerized rankings and even now he is #2. Which would be literally impossible if he'd been protected and hadn't fought top fighters. The Boxrec computers don't care about belts or hype. They just analyze the results of every fight on the planet and assign points based on your level of competition.

If Wilder knocks out Fury and becomes the lineal heavyweight champion of the world, what will the haters say then?

It’s a weak era to begin with and even so, he’s barely fought anyone. He looked shaky in the first Ortiz fight, was thoroughly outboxed by fury and was losing every round to Ortiz the 2nd time. He’s been less than convincing vs the only “real” opposition he’s faced, so people can be forgiven for not regarding him as some great fighter or the “true” hw champion. What he does have though, is fight ending power. So whether or not you like his style or if his fights aren’t action packed, there’s always a certain tension and that’s what hw boxing is about.

Wilder has one win against a legit top guy but that guy is no longer a top 10 level ,stole a belt and refuses undisputed is the real reason he’s the most disliked champion in the last 20 years at least.

Usyk, Fury, Hrgovic , Joshua , and Wlad I’d favor all over Wilder so until he can defeat any of those names he hasn’t actually achieved anything significant .

Anyone’s who bet Wilder to lose has lost that bet. I know people complain about his opponents, but I’d also like to know what those same people predicted the outcomes would be in those fights? If someone predicted Wilder to win all his fights and still thinks he sucks and is overrated that’s the person I want to hear from? If u thought Brezeale would be a tough fight, or Ortiz would win the rematch, or that he couldn’t get to Fury? are u willing to admit to underrating Wilder? I just want to hear sum peoples track records. Everyone’s Floyd v Manny pick should be known.

Wilder admitted he was rocked by Breazeale and he wasn’t hit flush so it really wouldn’t matter how the outcome came because you get almost a different fight with two punchers of size , a fight isn’t going to end the same if guys fight more than once . The thing is Breazeale is extremely slow ,he’s no Joshua and Wilder is a knocKout waiting to happen .

Those who bet against him will and should have won already , Ortiz 1 and Fury 1 . Let’s not pretend he’s not come close to losing so much guys like Molina are almost getting that knockout in the past .

I’m pretty sure few thought Ortiz would win the rematch after the Hammer fight ,that’s why no one asked for it so how does one underrate Wilder ?

IMO, the only heavyweight that is close to Wilder is Fury. And the two of them are facing each other this year.

Me too. I don't think Joshua will beat Wilder, he too vulnerable and his boxing skills aren't clean enough to avoid Wilder for 12 rounds.

I would favor Parker over Wilder b4 Joshua tbh
