    I like Wilder... he's a great champion.

But most people feel he lost to Fury.

And also this: Wilder Will Not Be Rushed To Klitschko
30 years old world champion considered prospect. Crazy stuff.

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (33-0, 32KOs) is still very much a work in progress, says his co-manager Shelly Finkel. After last Saturday's world titl

Lol why is he is a great champion?

He deserves credit for beating Ortiz and aggressively pursuing the Fury rematch but his prior run of defences against the likes of Washington, Arreola, Spzilka, Duhuapas, Molina etc is probably the worst you’ll see for a champion. He’s still got some way to be great.

But yet Wilder is the Champion of the entire sport.
So he's the Women's Heavyweight Champion as well?

This could be the biggest clutch of straws in the history of the clutching straws.

He'd beat a top ten until he did

He'd never be champion until he did

He'd never defend his title until he did

All they have left are some names. The walls are closing it, it's fine.

You can say that he really tried to make the Povetkin fight and only refused to fight him because he failed a drug test.

              Good opening post.

I think Wilders next fight with Fury will be his true judgement day though.

Actually Povetkin was his mandatory so he had to make the fight or vacate. But credit to him for going through with it, not his fault that Povetkin pissed hot.... but when that fight fell apart he made a fight with Chris Arreola of all people.

eddie hearn and AJ were hoping that wilder was going away with the first Ortiz fight....

then those dudes were probably laughing while watching wilder/fury..."see hes not gonna be a problem we wont have to face him"....then boom....their jaws dropped

these guys will be crossing their fingers, and their tiny g**** nuts, that fury beats wilder so they wont have to consider facing wilder for at least another 2 years.....

I never see you complain when Crawford's filed purse is way lower than his reported guarantee.

All complaints about his level of opposition became obsolete when he reached #1 in Boxrec. Clearly you're just a hater. The computers show that his level of competition has been just as high, if not higher, than 99% of the fighters out there.
