It is part of the tactics on the part of Wilder's manage team to avoid Fury trashtalking Wilder up before his face--something that affected Wilder in the first fight

Fury DID reject the immediate rematch to run to ESPN and fight two bums. He DID get knocked down twice and almost knocked out. Fury, at times DID get matched in terms of punches/jabs landed.
I'm not even a Deyonce fan but he should have enough conviction in himself to stand his ground and not be intimidated by Fury in a press conference.
Floyd Mayweather was similarly a bad talker but he still understood the importance of selling a fight to raise his star power. That's why he let McCregor clown him. Deyonce it seems is too ****** to understand that. He is being badly advised yet again and is limiting his earning potential.

The first fixed fight had that embarrassing fake stare down then video showed Wilder and Fury being chummy buddies back stage. Both promoters and both fighters are in on the fix planning a trilogy before the first fight even happened. WWE boxing.

Look at how many idiots on here think it's great for boxing, a niche sport, to be shown on a niche app instead of being shown on broadcast tv. Then they say dumb **** like "I don't care I just want to see the fights" Cool for boxing fans. Horrible for the growth of the sport. Without growth the sport dies. Top Rank putting their best fighters on ESPN plus then they turn around and complain their fighters can't sell tickets. Canelo numbers are dropping. Nobody seems to be able to put 2 & 2 together. Kinda ****** if Arum didnt take the immediate rematch to milk it then don't have press tour when the last fight benefited from a great press tour.
But oh well

Getting airtime in other big TV events isn't some innovative new idea. Believe it or not, the UK has big TV events too - and uses them to publicise their channel's upcoming shows. This has been happening in every developed nation forever.
But you still do a press conference. The networks and promoters are going use decent PPV numbers as evidence that network size is everything, hence DAZN can't compete - to the detriment of the fighters and the fans.
