He didnt win fighter of the decade in the decade he had all those losses man..the 40's was when he was on top..near the end of the 50's he started faded and the 60's were horrible for him...Manny has had a great career but I understand the need to be delusional, he does not deserve nor will he get fighter of the decade..thats insane thinking

They didnt have FOTD until 1990 Larry. And youre 100 on SSR on point. He did get the BWAA award once though. Which has been always been an high award in Boxing since the 30's. They started off wit FOTD in the 90's Roy was the first to get it. He had a loss on his record in that decade by DQ. Thats a bad L to have and he still got it. (point losses dont mean shlt with a great fighter)
