Just because jmm and floyd beat pac. Don't make them more deserving of fotd. Stay on topic if possible
Pac had a great decade dont get me wrong but i dont see how he is FOTD withthem two losses.

True I think in a fair world it rules nel o out.

      no way in hell!
Floyd is unlikely to be no2. His win over pac and nel o have huge asterix? And in any case if you liken it to soccer, you only get 3 points awin..That's only six points. And Floyd only had about 5 wins in decade worth discussing anyhow. Pac and nel o and lomo would be scored much more points even.losing to Floyd shouldn't dent want they've done.

Even Real madrid, barcelona, Liverpool have losses to the teams right at bottom of table. Don't make the bottom of table team better.
Pac, nel o and lomo all have losses but they've scored more points than the rest.

This is a pathetic thread from a pathetic poster. The lopsided loss to Floyd and the ko loss to jmm offset anything manny accomplished in the decade.

Imagine giving someone fotd with a loss to joe horn during the decade. That would be embarrassing.

No boxer has any wins better than defeating manny and canelo except Maybe Ruiz over AJ is better than the Floyd over Canelo win.

When you have the 2 best wins in the decade, the 3 highest selling events , generated the most revenue and no losses, you are a contender for fotd even if you didn’t fight the whole decade .

I didn't want to mention Floyd in this thread as I didn't think he was a serious contender. But I have to keep mentioning him as Floyd fans keep trying to change rules especially to accommodate floyd.

You sound more like a casual fan every day. I thought better of you. So sad to see you fall the casual fan perspectives.

Let me enlighten you. You mention losses as if it ruins a mans career or life. In fact to come back from a loss (especially a devastating knockout loss) as Manny did says a lot of one mans dedication and how much adversity he can overcome.

Also we all know that this fight game is more mentally then the physicality of the sport. So not only to lose from a KO much less being robbed in a 12 round fight does a lot to ones mindset. But Manny being so strong minded. Keeps fighting yet another day. And wins again.

Oh and you sound even dumber when you think as you do and did say in the above horse shlt you posted that generating more revenue makes you a contender for FOTD LMFAO. That has NOTHING at ALL to do with it. And if Floyds best wins were Canelo and Manny....Thats even more reason why those both lame ass fights wouldn't make him fighter of the decade. Winning a fight with a popular name doesn't do **** either.

Youre a dlck riding casual fan of boxing. Nothing more.

Sugar Ray Robinson has 19 losses –6 draws....does that tarnish his legacy. Or did it ?

I had a weird dream that World Boxing has a hierarchy like a pyramid where fighters trainers promoters, journos historians and bucket boys, all the players of the game sit at different levels up the boxing pyramid that has a Golden Door on the very summit.

Descending way down the slope near the bottom are the fans and riff raff hecklers in herds bleating at each other to come join their herd because its better than the one you are in, and on the pyramid floor there are cracks and crevices, its here Manny fanboys are blind **** with no hearing and no small scurrying around the floor, hiding in holes, running into walls, crying and moaning as they plead to be heard by anyone above them.

For some reason this thread just appeared I wonder what the connection is.

Let's see what nel o does from 2020 to 2030 but the PED gate might have hurt nel o and still fresh in people's minds for him to challenge Pac this time. End of decade came little too soon for nelo
I disagree. Pac, is not the fighter of the decade from years 2010-2019. He was probably the fighter of the year for 2019. I bestow that honour upon Floyd Money Mayweather, Jr who had gone undefeated for that entire decade. I say the no. 2 and the second best fighter of the decade was probably Andre Ward who was also a two time divisional champion, won the Showtime's Super Six World Boxing Classic and retired undefeated.

When you put Pacquiao's and Mayweather's accomplishments throughtout the decade to me its not even a match.

Pacquiao did lose to Marquez and Mayweather fair and square but his losses to Horn and Bradley were BS decisions. You also have to put on his great run with getting a title back and dominating a young undefetead fighter and thats surpasses Mayweather's.

Instead of boxing Mayweather choose the circus with McGregor, wich i don't blame him because it made him hundreads of millions, but fighting a japanese midget and the likes of Berto and Guerrero doesnt get him the nod.
So Pac should be fighter of the decade, but lost fair and square to Mayweather, but is FOTD because his win over Thurman is bigger than Mayweather's win over Pac? I don't follow.
