canelo alvarez 23 fights in was fighting a guy called larry mosley...not shane mosley..larry.....are we gonna say "well canelo was only 19 or 20(whatever has then)? no you guys dont wanna say that...you want to talk "23 fights in"
just because a guy started earlier doesnt mean anything....age is a major factor
yes you may have a teo that might get the loma fight at 22(this remains to be seen i still have doubts till its finalized)...you have a canelo fighting floyd at 24....thats extremely rare...and both should be praised for it.....but its rare...its not the norm....so why hold tank to a standard that is pretty basic....he turned 25 in november.....again...who were crawford, spence, usyk, golovki, loma, taylor etc fighting at 24?
some guys start at 16...some at at 18...some at 22...some at 26...you need to look at age vs competition......people want to talk about how loma fought salido in his 2nd pro fight....but mikey beat salido when he was the same age as loma was when he took the fight....loma thought he was so good it didnt matter and that he was def ready for something like that....
when tank is 27, 28, 31 and still not taking on the best youll have a legit gripeLast edited by Curt Henning; 01-01-2020, 01:16 PM.

but watching the average progression of most of the big name guys over the last 10 years or so tank is not behind...hes basically right on schedule....maybe even slightly ahead when you factor in overall exposure.....
tanks resume at just turning 25 is no worse than just about every top 20 p4p fighter....some people cant wrap their heads around that though....they want to hold him to a different standard....a p4p standard even....hes not rated p4p anywhere either!
all because he holds a belt or two? they told us belts were cheap and anyone with money and connections can get one! they dont cry about loma getting a title shot in his 2nd pro fight through money and connection...what do they say? "his amatuer pedigree says he deserved it"...they actually say that!

Stank should stop talking before he gets his ass beat by Crawford...forcing Floyd to come out of retirement and get his ass beat too and catch 50-1

Shouldn't Crawford be worried about getting a legitimate fight at welterweight instead of what tank is doing at lightweight? He hating on another man's work when he still lacks a career defining fight. Didn't an article come out recently saying he doesn't want to fight Shawn Porter? The question is who in the world do you want to fight?
