Idk about diminished. I mean accumulating a 95% ko ratio is no easy task, even if most of opposition are weak. Power like that just doesn't go away from one weight class jump. I think davis just underestimated gamboa's resolve to survive & inturn undertrained for the fight. He could hardly breathe during the in-ring interview & he wasn't even in a war. Whatever the case he didnt look impressive & yeah loma/teofimo/haney arent looking like they'll be easy tasks for davis like how some thought.

I can look at the flush shots he hit Gamboa with and compare them to his opponents at 130 reaction. I saw the same thing with Broner when he was at 130. Keep in mind Gamboa isn't even a big or natural 135 fighter and is chinny. Here is a tip to help you recognize a weight bully. Low output and you often see them stare down their shots because they are used to one punch dropping or seriously hurting their opponent. I saw that against Gamboa and I've watched Broner do it every fight since moving past 135.

It was a way of me saying that Shawn Porter wants to go, but he's taking shots at a guy 2 weight classes down, who dominated an even more faded version of a faded fighter he fought, in more or less the same fashion, out of shape. Crawford is entitled to his opinion, but he gave it in a catty way.
