I don't think you're a Tank fanboy defending him come what may. Not at all. Personally I don't see what he gains by fighting at the level of a present day Gamboa and such likes. I have my faves but no fighter is exempt from criticism. Josh Taylor my hometown boy was a real *** with his antics recently. Not impressed at all. But even Lopez at age 22 and on 14 fights is took on Commey. That's the kind of guy/level Tank should be looking at next imo. Just hope Floyd doesn't waste an exceptional talent with any more so-so opponents.thats your guess or opinion...if pedraza is still the best name on tanks resume by 29 then yeah ill be saying the same stuff you are and ill be bagging on him...because contrary to belief i dont care what happens to tank..i dont care if loma does a calzaghe/lacy on his arse...it doesnt bother me one bit
but watching the average progression of most of the big name guys over the last 10 years or so tank is not behind...hes basically right on schedule....maybe even slightly ahead when you factor in overall exposure.....
tanks resume at just turning 25 is no worse than just about every top 20 p4p fighter....some people cant wrap their heads around that though....they want to hold him to a different standard....a p4p standard even....hes not rated p4p anywhere either!
all because he holds a belt or two? they told us belts were cheap and anyone with money and connections can get one! they dont cry about loma getting a title shot in his 2nd pro fight through money and connection...what do they say? "his amatuer pedigree says he deserved it"...they actually say that!Comment

no disrespect to teo...cause i like him alot and respect and think highly of him.....but commey is about the same level of pedraza when tank knocked pedraza out imo...if im being honest.....I don't think you're a Tank fanboy defending him come what may. Just hope Floyd doesn't waste an exceptional talent with any more so-so opponents.
ill say this....my father is 78...he always asks me if i know any good fights coming on over the weekend when i talk to him....i told him "theres fights on showtime sat" night the week of the tank fight....you know his response "oh gamboa right...yeah i saw that"....he knew gamboa....hes probably above a casual...but he doesnt follow the sport online....he knew gamboa....thats what tank had to gain....people know who gamboa is.....
the reality is teo isnt a main eventer yet....you can go fight on a crawford undercard and fight someone like commey and its great....but tank is headlining....the general public doesnt know commey from what...id be willing to bet that 85 percent of the people in atl at the tank fight dont know who commey is....
sure its not the best fight...top level....but tank is building something else right now before he builds his resume...at his age i think thats fine....he just literally turned 25 in november...he has time to build a good resume....his resume right now is no better or worse, at the same age, as basically all of the top 20 p4p guys.....
fighting commey and loma back to back for teo is as impressive as it gets...no doubt...they are hoping through the fights they build an attraction...tanks people are building an attraction and hoping he builds his skills to match it as they go....thats fair..its a different approach....if teo gets eaten alive people by loma people will wonder if he didnt make dumb move....
tank does need to start stepping it up...no doubt...and i think he will....Comment

I don't know about that. This article suggests that Crawford was next to last on the fan poll for Pacquiao's next fight in 2017. Pac's drawing power also suffered and Crawford was high risk, low reward for him @ JWW. https://www.boxingnewsresults.com/20...ayweather-ppv/Comment
