A fighter who can't see would get stopped.

A shot fighter with an injury to his ankle that prevents him from putting his weight on it shouldn't take 11 rounds to stop by a so called phenom.

You trying to act like it didn't make much difference is ridiculous.

You never know. Didn’t Homer take out Tyson that way?

No, he tried but was rescued by the fan man. He did win a boxcar title that way though.

"I believe my performance tonight was a C-plus," Davis said, knowing he was expected to dismiss Gamboa much earlier. "It was a great experience. I'm only 25 years old. I'm learning each and every day."

I guess. But Tank “only being 25” is like saying Gamboa was “only 38”. He still hasent “learned” how to make weight. He was a -2500 favourite and after he missed weight a lot expected/hoped for a more competitive fight assuming Davis was not in his best shape. I think that was the case. He threw very few punches, was breathing heavy in the corner with poor body language. There’s nothing about this performance that shows he’s progressing at the rate ud want him to. He’s not that dynamic. I liked the early jabs to the body. But it’s not like he was throwing pretty three/four punch combos either. Every time Gamboa got hit he’d stand and throw back, and he still lasted to the 12th. I don’t hate Tank. But there’s nothing I’ve seen from him that ever made me want to study him more closely and after this fight I don’t see things changing.

Maybe if Tank had said "beeg thrama show "after the fight the haters would be more accepting of his performance.

So are you admitting that Tank Davis didn't train hard because he was fighting a guy that was a minimal threat? And that Davis fought and knocked out a guy that is a minimal threat will make him be ready for a Lomachenko fight?
