yeah i didnt say anything about hearn although i see where someone just mentioned...i dont really care and it wouldnt have bothered me...

as long as the fighters arent complaining and are happy i dont really care....

i just dont buy when golden boy and TR get all pissy and try litigation against haymon....its nothing more than jealousy imo....they are getting beat at the game and they cant stand it imo

oscars company had a similar deal with haymon back when he let schaeffer run it....golden boy was thriving and doing as well as ever....but oscar couldnt wrap his mind around the old way of having iron clad contracts for his fighters....adapt or die....and without canelo oscars company would be near irrevlevant....

Showtime / Fox writing checks to Haymon Sports constitutes a financial interest. The arena paying site fees or ticket sales to Haymon Sports constitutes a financial interest. Its beyond belief that this point is even arguable. And even if Haymon gives every nickel of that revenue to the fighters, the law is there to protect those fighters from less honorable people.....
I don’t think anyone should or can dispute that Haymon has a financial interest in what he does.

If he is just an adviser then all the monies his fighters gets offered by other networks, he would have sat down with each and all of these networks and try to work out a deal or comeback with a counter offer.

He would not have Tank Davis/Gamboa fighting in showtime instead of FOX. Most of what is going on is in the best interest of Haymon sports.

As you know, I've been on it for days calling out the ducking only to have tons of NSB cats claiming it wasn't a duck, "he only wants Spence or Manny", "he's got nothing to prove", etc. Okay

legally, there is no such thing as an "advisor". Haymon is a licensed MANAGER. Period. He can call himself an advisor, or a snake charmer if he wants to, he is still a licensed manager, and subject to the laws that govern managers.

And if anyone thinks the law is bad, ask them if they think Carl King, or Cameron Dunkin should be able to control all the event revenue (with no oversight) for fighters they "manage".....

Arum told Bomac to convince Crawford because Arum wants the fight. When's the last time you had a situation where BOTH Arum (Bomac) AND Haymon (Kenny) support a fight yet one of the fighters is hemming and hawing?

well to be fair, if you take away the top few earners from ANY promotional entity (PBC included), they ALL become irrelevant.

And yes, Golden Boy and Top Rank were indeed butthurt by Haymons actions. But that doesnt mean their claims were completely without merit. Even in the Golden Boy lawsuit, where Golden Boy alleged Ali Act violations by Haymon, the judge didnt dispute their allegations. All he said (in the transcript) was that "whether or not Haymon was acting as a promoter, Golden Boy did not prove specific damages", so their claim was denied........

i agree.....but the pbc has more main true main eventers than either top rank and golden boy.....

i understand as someone who was in the business where you would have a different perspective on it....and thats cool...i aint mad.....like ive stated i see no harm when the fighters are happy and appear to love the guy...

unless you truly believe haymon is a cult that has hypnotised guys to thank him every time out and speak highly of him....i think hes doing alright

yeah ...its not a good look for crawford....

porter is a tough night....you cant have people complaining on air on your behalf...then turn around and look a gift horse in the mouth

"he only wants pac or spence"....well you had pac in your own company and didnt get it....and we have to see what spence is first.....so porter makes a ton of sense out there while you wait....its a no brainer....unless you really dont want that work.....

crawford is p4p certified everywhere....trinkets dont mean all that much when youve reached his status in the game.....theyre nice...and unifying 147 would be great...thats why he should be patient and let spence try to get that third one and then they can do that in 2021....

if he doesnt get the fight with porter done its a TERRIBLE look on a guy i like and have respect for....
