I had Harrison up 7-3 going into that round. I thought he fought very well.. seemed to get too content and lost focus.

That said, that was a weird stoppage. Had the fight been stopped after the second knockdown, I would've agreed. But why let him get up just to stop the fight on punches that didn't land?

Anyway, can't wait for both of their next fights

First, I would like to tip my hat to both fighters on a very good fight and spirited effort. I thought both men displayed tremendous championship heart but it came down to the man who wanted it the most and that was Jermell Charlo.

I had Harrison leading on my unofficial scorecard but I noticed a subtle trend in the fight by the eighth or ninth round or so. Tony began to slow the down the pace by stop walking Charlo down and started boxing him in the center in the ring. Which I believed led to his undoing. Perhaps he was tired from all the punches he threw.

In any case, it gave Jermell a window in which he was able to exploit and counter him. However, all in all it was a great fight and congratulations to Jermell Charlo on his comeback victory of his WBC 154 lbc title.

Fight lived up to the hype.

Charlo only had one goal in his mind for this fight and it was to knock Tony out. Never stopped pressing for it and didnt fold when Tony was lighting him up hard in some of the rounds.

Tony looked great tonight coming back strong after being dropped in the 2nd. Started goofing around too much and it eventually cost him. Hope he gets some announcing jobs because dude is hilarious and bright and thought he did a good job last time PBC had him on mic ringside.

After seeing the two judges had Charlo ahead which I certainly didn’t agree with I’m glad the fight was stopped. After the knock downs there was no way he was going to win the fight in a decision after being behind on judge’s cards better that he leaves the ring healthy with his faculties intact.

Concentration drops when your energy levels drop. Harrison always had weak stamina so this was bound to happen, as it has happened the other two times he was stopped.

                Re

Harrison didnt see that left hook coming, because Jermell had been so inactive on the inside.

Jermell was allowing Harrison to walk him down and dominate inside. So Jermell threw the left to the body. Well Harrison thought well he's throwing his one shot again, time to let my hands go!

But it wasnt just one shot this time ! It was a Jose Luis Castillo double left hook to the body and then the head! Harrison let his hand go just when Charlo was coming upstairs with the left hook, to complete the 2-piece! BAM! Spaghetti leg city, baby !

Great fight. Better than the first. I thought Charlo got robbed in fight one. I found a new respect for Harrison in fight 2. He stood in the middle of the ring and held his own this time around. While I had Charlo ahead before the stoppage, I could see Harrison being ahead on anyone's scorecard. The fight was that close. Hey. Did anyone catch Lennox Lewis on the side sound bite pick up saying "come on" to the idiotic questions being asked by the female reporter. Who is she? She was biased and terrible.

It's part of it, but he also starts showboating for no reason. That shows he's losing focus and becoming too complacent. He could benefit from better stamina, I won't argue that. I think his main problem is mental more than it is physical.

Oh yeah...horrible. He should be undefeated and is a champ at 154...he just viciously stopped a top guy that gives everyone fits. He knows nothing about boxing, he’s only world champ, he should text you and the guy you quoted for advice from now on. The internet haha
