It’s sad because Harrison’s adjustment from the first fight was spot on. He made it an inside fight, backed Charlo up and was winning convincingly. Once he stopped pressuring Charlo the fight changed

Poetic justice is always great to see. Blatant robbery by suspect judging last year.

then Harrison completely dodged 5 punches, and Reiss then thought "oh ****, now it's time to stop it!"
THe fact of the matter is that he didnt throw a single punch to defend himself or show that he was fighting back. As a Ref, you HAVE to take these things into consideration. Jack could and should have stopped it after the 2nd knockdown. He didnt; he gave Tony a chance to fight back- Tony didn't. It was only a matter of time, and given the way he was taking punishment...He would have gotten badly knocked out a few seconds later, or the next round.

To me, there really is no debate about whether or not it was a good stoppage- Harrison even acknowledged as much by not contesting the stoppage in the post fight interviews.

We got some TV friendly refs tonight, they let the action go in many cases. Each fight had some drama

That 2nd knockdown was pretty vicious, I thought he was done but he rose in one motion (maybe some help from the ropes). Thought Reese gave him enough time to show something...don't really take issue with people who think that if he let him get up from that kind of knockdown, why stop it without him taking some flush shots at the very end. I think he gave him to time to PUNCH BACK and not just be defensive, he didnt see that so he pulled the plug. I thought it was a good stoppage

Yeah but that's on Showtime, it will have less viewers. I should of expressed that I meant more on the lines of their free programming

He only knows one way to fight, and that's "power good!"

Harrison exposed him last fight, so his game plan for this fight was to do the exact same thing, and he got completely outboxed and picked apart until the KDs

In all (3) fights, Harrison boxed very well but let his focus and defense slip. He could be an undefeated.
I would think his dad would make him aware to not lose focus. Very possible he could be undefeated if he kept the same pace and concentration throughout the whole fight. So frustrating to see something so ****** happen so many times.

Harrison wasn't as safety minded as the last fight, but he paid for his audacity. I liked the fight much better this time. Quick, but not outrageous stoppage.

No problem with the stoppage, should've called it after that Nasty Uppercut that snapped Tony head back
Jrock and Harrison have the skill advantage in the division, but they don't have the mean-ness and the power of the Charlos. The Charlos can afford to lose rounds as long as they are dealing damage and tenderizing the opponent for the late or midfight stoppage.

However the Charlos are too high on their power and don't seem to be able to grasp the fact that they won't always be able to drop an opponent with one clean shot, sometimes you have to work for the kos and stoppages. Even Mike Tyson and Deontay Wilder haven't stopped every opponent.

TRUE & a strong possibility Charlo would have dropped him for a final time in the 11th too.

I commented based on seeing the instant replay a few times before the stoppage. None of those punches were really landing flush but all it takes is one like Charlo connected with on the first two knockdowns to put Harrison asleep for good. Also, Harrison’s reaction with the ref suggested he was trying to weather the storm to make it through the last 30 seconds. But he conceded afterwards that the ref did his job.
