If Shyte really wants to make a statement then fight King Kong.

Don't give us none of this Manuel Charr stuff. That would be a weak opponent.

****** thread. Whyte has a guaranteed title shot next year. He's not going to fight any PBC fighters. Would make no sense for Hearn to risk letting Haymon off the hook. Whyte will fight Povetkin because Povetkin is with Hearn. There is zero chance of him fighting Ortiz, Ruiz, etc.

Ortiz just needs to fight someone around the top 10. He's done absolutely **** all to justify the ridiculous hype he gets.

Some of us don't care about preserving the political status quo of boxing. We would prefer to see good fights instead.

Whyte coming off a streak that includes chisora twice browne parker rivas wach should fight some overated 50 year old schmuck whose never achieved anything professionally and has been knocked out twice last year. Whyte could ko him and you fools would be like hes old , fighting wilders left overs or washed up. Lol.

Then your thread should be "I want to see Whyte fight King Kong," not "Whyte should fight King Kong."

I want to see all of these guys fight each other, but what I want to see and what they should do are very different things.

I don't know who Whyte's manager is, but if it was me, I'd advise him to sit tight and wait for his shot and then take it to purse bid. He makes at least 10 million that. I wouldn't risk that pay day fighting lower level fights for a million or two.

It's a good fight. Whyte fans lose their shyt when you bring it up but no one cares what they say anyway.
If this was a real sport.. actually, I'll stop myself there because if this was a real sport Whyte would be serving a sentence for being a drug cheat.

Whyte would be ****** to take that fight with the title shot in his back pocket. He knows damn well he can't beat Ortiz.

Whyte is all name-calling but will run away from this fight calling Ortiz old and 50-year old...but not actually fighting him. Ortiz is too dangerous for Whyte.

It will probably be Povetkin (less danger as he couldn't KO a Cruiserweight), Manuel Charr (currently on long vacations), or someone else who is ranked on paper but present a low danger fight and not likely to KO Whyte. FFS, they are even considering Otto Walin. He might as well fight Fujimoto or Charles Martin (worst champ ever?).
