The other issue is, networks aren't going to want to pour their resources into a fighter, only for them to go help prop up the competition. If you say to Fox, hey we gave DAZN Charlo for one fight, but we get Andrade for one fight, Fox is going to say, who the **** cares about Andrade? We just spent all this time and money building the Charlo twins. We want the Charlo twins, not Andrade.

Another issue is, even if a "trade" helps Fox and helps DAZN, Fox is going to say, we don't need DAZN's help and why the **** would we want to help DAZN?
I see, and ultimately these networks are in competition too, not just fighters. It's just that we wanna see Charlo vs. Andrade in the ring, not Fox vs. DAZN in a conference room lol.

Charlo just had 250k viewer's on Showtime. He would be on Jake Paul's undercard as well.

However, Charlo 160's last 2 fights were on Showtime which did numbers that probably ain't too much higher than DAZN gets. So he isn't even getting Fox exposure.
Showtime numbers are much higher than DAZN.

And even if the Charlos are splitting time between Fox and Showtime, Fox and Showtime need to be able to trust that Charlo will remain loyal to them, not help prop up the enemy DAZN.

This is why the best thing for fans is for there to be one dominant league in the US. The sooner DAZN goes out of business, the better. Then it's just a question of whether PBC can eventually push Top Rank out of the picture, or whether Endeavor will really try to buy both PBC and Top Rank.

Nowhere did I say "Charlo's last fight was on Fox."

**** this side of the street garbage. Charlo better take the fight or he should hand his belt to Korobov.

I'd say rematch Korobov, but I don't know if he even ever fights again.

The fight is simply not big enough for Haymon to risk one of his top undefeated guys losing to a competitor and to help them grow even if Charlo won the fight. I think Haymon is in it for the total domination of the sport and he thinks he doesn't need to work with others because he has a big stable where he can make in-house fights. Anything less than the total domination of boxing means financial failure longterm and destruction of the sport.

Charlo moving up to 168 would be better for Haymon because Haymon has fights for Charlo there and Charlo's popularity would help a rather dead division come back to life. It really sucks that we're probably not going to see Charlo against any of the top 160 lbs Champions, but that's how the game goes unfortunately

what hearn is hoping is to get guys like charlo and tank over there...match their next fight and get them thinking "wow this isnt bad over here i think i wanna stay".....
Bingo! You hit the hammer on the nail. Now you see why Al Haymon is so reluctant in allowing his fighters to fight over there because once they get them he may never get them back. DAZN would try to steal them all away from him in order to build their brand.

I don't doubt that Showtimes numbers are 'higher' but they ain't 'much higher'. Charlo vs Hogan had 250k viewers. DAZN cards are probably averaging out at around 100-150k.

'Much higher' is comparing NFL ratings with Boxing ratings.
