Which is a completely reasonable from Hearn. Nobody is going to spend that amount of money for literally a one off. But fans that don't understand why Charlo wouldn't do the one off should realize there are always strings attached.

And those “strings” usually share consistency with public testimony about not crossing streets for ESPN or DAZN cause “I’mma talk to Al and see what’s best for me.”

If you're trying to build your long term brand, you're much better off with the high visibility of Fox than you are fighting on DAZN in front of nobody.

When you fight on Fox, your Face to Face, Fight Camp and Countdown specials air on all the Fox affiliates with millions of people watching. Those specials also air dozens of times on FS1 and FS2, with hundreds of thousands of people watching.

When you fight on DAZN, nobody knows about it. Yes, you might make a million or two more, but at what cost?

That explains a lot of why certain fights don't happen, but let me ask you this: What about trades between promoters? For example, what if Charlo were to take the offer from DAZN in exchange for Hearn allowing one of his top fighters to do the same on the PBC platform?

            Wait a minute...

Jermall Charlo viewership on Fox or Showtime? Purse amount.

            Vs

DAZN’s offer, purse amount. Global on demand catalog to watch Jermall Charlo in either Japan or Brazil etc vs Charlo’s current viewership?

You realize that all Charlo gotta do, besides taking a nice bag, is to simply win! From there, DAZN Can yet again offer another purse in the amount that Jacobs gets.

Did you forget the essence of prize fighting? Or are you excuses for duckery not debatable?

“Building a brand” for Jermall that’s a good one

2.5 million people watched Charlo the last time he fought on Fox and more will watch next time. Charlo is already making 4-5 million a fight. With a rematch clause in every fight to protect him. Every imaginable advantage tilted in his favor as he's the promoter of the event.

To go to DAZN, to make a couple million more, for a tough fight, where every imaginable advantage is tilted against him, as he's fighting on someone else's platform, with no rematch clause to protect him, and ****ting all over Fox and Showtime after everything they've done for him, just isn't worth it.

If it was a smart business move, he'd do it. It's not, so he won't.

Obviously what you're saying is correct.

However, Charlo 160's last 2 fights were on Showtime which did numbers that probably ain't too much higher than DAZN gets. So he isn't even getting Fox exposure.

There's a few problems with trades. It's very difficult to find two scenarios of equal value. If DAZN gets Charlo for one fight, who does PBC get? DAZN isn't going to send GGG or Canelo. Even if DAZN sends Andrade, Charlo is much more valuable than Andrade, so that's not a fair trade.

The other issue is, networks aren't going to want to pour their resources into a fighter, only for them to go help prop up the competition. If you say to Fox, hey we gave DAZN Charlo for one fight, but we get Andrade for one fight, Fox is going to say, who the **** cares about Andrade? We just spent all this time and money building the Charlo twins. We want the Charlo twins, not Andrade.

Another issue is, even if a "trade" helps Fox and helps DAZN, Fox is going to say, we don't need DAZN's help and why the **** would we want to help DAZN?

What’s the thread title say? Are you confused with which Charlo this is about? 2.5mil? Just so you know, Jermell Charlo can’t unify with Andrade...

                    Amateur hour bruh..

if an andrade headlined card was doing numbers even close to a showtime card headlined by charlo i dont think theyd be adding youtubers and putting them ahead of real fighters on the card....fighters with titles...
