Thank you for proving my point. You fabricated your own definition of stardom, accused me of arguing in favor of that definition and then made that silly statement about Floyd Mayweather Jr being the only star boxing ever had as a follow up to that made up argument.

Wilder is an exceptionally talented performer in the world of sports and by pretty much everybody's definition except for yours, Wilder is famous. His fights on network TV have garnered millions of viewers. He has millions of followers on social media. His training camp footage has aired on hundreds of free over the air Fox affiliates. He's starred on a successful basic cable reality show. He's appeared as an actor on premium cable. He's headlined major pay-per-view events, as the A-side, that has shoulder programming viewed by millions and television commercials viewed by tens of millions. By any reasonable analysis, he's a star.

Then the argument is presented that if someone else is a much bigger star, you can't possibly be a star. I didn't present that argument, therefore it's not strawman. I'm attacking an actual argument that was presented. That because Canelo did so many PPV buys, therefore Wilder can't possibly be a star.

The problem with that argument though is that Mayweather did so many more PPV buys than anybody else in history, that using that theory would mean nobody has ever been a star. Mayweather is the only star in the history of boxing.
