Why is people making a big deal outta Bud hitting the canvas?!?...He won by stoppage in less than 10 rounds!! Last week AJ boxed and got criticized...Bud stood and fought, got caught and hit the canvas but got back up and beat the dog ish outta his opponent but is being dragged through the mud for what happened in the 2nd round of a fight that he stopped his opponent in 9....I just don’t understand some of these so called boxing fans smh...Gypsy been dropped by dudes who Bomber would blast away in 3 rounds or less but it doesn’t mean that Bomber would steamroll Gypsy!! I think boxing fans are getting pettier by the year!! Mfs just be looking for ANYTHING to criticize a fighter that they don’t like for!! It’s crazy!!

They criticized AJ for boxing smart last week and criticized Bud for having an entertaining fight this week!! I just don’t get it!! Smh

That's a joke. CCC is the one who's nothing special. Waits until fighters show signs of slowing down, uses PEDs, relies on judges and has had multiple controversial decisions because of those judges. Crawford has left no doubt in all his wins and unified an entire division.. CCC finds the weakest, oldest champ in a division and all of a sudden he's the best. FOH with that nonsense.

You’re absolutely right man. Although I must admit I did criticize Joshua for boxing and holding, even though it was expected.

I do think Crawford looked very wild last night with his punches. Very wide. I do think he could have used his length better. However, I also notice that the MONENT he switched to orthodox he opened up a beating on his opponent, similar to when Donaire fought Tyson Marquez for about 6 rounds as a southpaw because he was trying to “learn” to fight that way. Marquez had a lot of success early, but around 6 Nonito switched and probably stopped him in 7-9.

The hope is Terrance is not smelling himself and will conduct himself on a more humble manner against better opposition. To your point though, he dropped him 3 times and stopped him in 9 so at the end of the day, what’s it to complain about ? We indeed got an entertaining fight.

Not sure what fight you were watching but I do have ESPN plus. I guess a guy that fought to a draw against Ray Robinson hits harder than Spence at Welterweight. Didn’t Ugas stop Ray Robinson before Ray Robinson fought Kavaliuaskas. And I believe Ugas only has a 39% KO percentage.

Now Kavaliuaskas has a 73% KO percentage but Spence has a 81% KO Percentage. Spence has stopped guys like Algeria, Peterson, Brook, Vargas. As a matter of fact Spence in the last 5 years has stopped 9 out of 11 opponents. In the past 5 years Kavaliuaskas stopped 9 out of 14 opponents. Who did you say hits harder again, Spence or Kavaliuaskas? That’s what I thought, numbers don’t lie.

And like I stated before as someone who is a bigger fan of Crawford then Spence, Bud isn’t walking down Spence. I have to be very objective as a fan not go off emotions. True Spence was challenged in his last fight by Porter and showed difficulty against a very aggressive opponent who comes forward all night. But Porter is much more aggressive and dangerous and has fought better overall opposition at Welterweight than Kavaliuaskas but Spence still came out victorious. It’s easy to say if Bud would have beaten Porter but he hasn’t fought him yet so we don’t know how well he would do until that fight takes place. But we did see tonight that Bud got tagged repeatedly by Kavaliuaskas and hurt and knocked down. Still a good win by Bud but he doesn’t want to be that reckless and careless against Spence, that’s my point. I guarantee Bud will box Spence and pick his spots to be aggressive should they fight.

Kava clearly hits harder than Spence. Spence gets more stoppages because of his style(punch volume). Does this obvious fact need to be explained?
