Impressive performance from Crawford. That guy may have been unknown but he was big with some skill. Crawford showed his IQ, power and a real mean streak.
Bro I bet that isn't what you said when Porter struggled with Ugas.
Fact of the matter is that you can't really predict how the big fights are gonna go because the guy who struggled against Ugas had the best camp of his career when he had to fight Spence, even had Benevides and Andrade hired to be his sparring partners.
Don't be surprised if Crawford has Ward in his sparring camp when he is preparing for Spence/Porter/Danny or someone like that and has the best camp of his career.
Maidana had the best camp of his career and produced the best performance of his career when he faced Mayweather, but what happened in the rematch?
I think Max Kellerman summed it up perfectly.
He said when you look at Thurman, Crawford, and Spence, it's hard to argue that Thurman could beat them. According to him, Thurman is a very good fighter, but Spence and Crawford are ELITE fighters.
But on a good day, Thurman can beat Spence and/or Crawford, all it takes is one brilliant training camp and strategy, and the guy coming in in the best form of his life.
So you can say Crawford was maybe at 70 percent today, but what happens when he comes in at 💯 form?
See you're assuming he is gonna come in at this 70 percent form you saw today when he fights those guys, just like everyone assumed Porter would come in in that 70 percent that he did against Ugas.
Ugas is a good fighter that was stylistically wrong for Porter, Crawford got the job done but he got dropped. Period dude.

Ugas is a better all around fighter than mean machine. No surprise porter struggled because ugas has a high ring iq. Bud should not have struggled yesterday,no excuse
Crawford fighting like the stepped out of the 1980s. Fighting like a real fighter. No fear.
You dont have to go that far back. He's reminiscent of Tito Trinidad. That killer instinct when he smells blood, perching on the back foot, then go in with the two hands attack.
Oh please, same thing has happened with Spence, Mayweather and GGG. Tonight Crawford was forcing a ko to make a point. Overall his performance is proof he's a top P4P fighter. Stop equating lack of popularity of a fighter with lack of skill, EK is a good fighter. And btw, Mayweather and Spence have been hit more by fighters I'd argue were lesser opponents than EK
They have never seen Floyd against Augustus or Corley, as they are too young.
