And this is all by a foreign promoter.

    Crawford should sell -- period.

    It's Bob's fault.
LOL, stop. You are going off the numbers they give you. Trust me, those numbers aren't nearly as good as what you think. In fact, most of Hearn's cards where i've had commission reports have been trash.

As for what Arum is saying, I just think there is too much boxing. Way more cards now than in the past with as many boxing dates these promoters have. But Crawford/Khan pulled in a very solid gate number at MSG last time out. Mean Machine is just unknown and Lopez doesn't have a big name to pull in a good audience yet.

But Crawford's name value has become a bit stale with his recent competition so that plays a factor. Put him in against someone like Thurman and I bet they can do REALLY good numbers in NY.

Should have just held this fight in Omaha.

If he is a draw there then don't mess with that.

It is a issue for ALL OF THEM but fans sit on this forum pretending like one promote is doing better than the other...NO!

In America, the popularity of this great sport is at a all time LOW! They ALL giving away tickets and letting people in for Free at the last minute Just to fill out the Arena

I LOVE boxing but nobody else I know personally does, not any Family Members, Friends or Co-Workers. That is the ONLY reason why I still come to this forum because...well...nobody else gives a F#CK about Boxing. It is a Tough Sell for sure I'm sure because nobody is interested in coming out and watching a bunch of fighters they don't even know.

So yeah for sure I can imagine for a Promoter in America, boxing is a very tough sell right now. That is why I say Support ALL Platforms who are spending Millions in boxing like ESPN/ESPN+, DAZN, FOX and Showtime because without them spending money on boxing this sport would be F#CKED!

NY sports fans have no attachment to Crawford especially when he is fighting a no name.
I totally agree with this. My assumption is that promoters still put in fights in Vegas and MSG because ticket prices are way higher and you end up making more selling 30% of seats at high ticket prices then you do selling out in smaller cities like Omaha. I also think if you have fights in Vegas and MSG you get more national media coverage which helps promote and sell your fighters to a wider audience. Just a guess.

Sicko: Man you hit the nail on the head and me and you are in the same boat. I do have 1-2 friends that do like boxing but that is about it. No one else I work with or in my family cares. Also I support all platforms except PBC only because PBC wont work with other promoters. Aside from that I literally could care less what promoter does well or makes x amount of money. Its irrelevant how well a promoter does to me.

Looks like Arum is making excuses for his fighters not selling enough tickets!!
I like Crawford but he his yet to fight a top welterweight talent and that may be the reason why.
I also know that it's not all Crawford's fault as the PBC boys need to seriously step up.
But we should have Crawford in with one of them, Spence, Porter, Manny, Thurman, or Danny Garcia.
