The catch is Haymon lies to get money for his guy as if he’s going to take over and Finkel the shrewd businessman himself is feasting off Wilder while also manipulating the business.

So there really is no catch other then any network that shells out ridiculous money and needing to double it to see a profit will lose out ,it’s why PBC is for sale now so not sure how that’s not a red flag for networks . It’s all lies and will see it when Wilder goes off the PPV route after Fury with or without a belt.

      Good point doe.
We have no way of knowing whether they really got the kind of money
a slice of the media is disseminating.
Neither Wilder nor Ortiz confirmed the reports,
but can't be blamed because it works in their favours
in anticipation for another rounds of negotiations with Hearn.
One thing is certain, the IRS will go after them for lying about their income.

But still you have to wonder why Showtime Espinoza decided to
pass on the Ortiz/Wilder 2 stating, "It didn't make sense for us."
So you can't help but conclude Showtime either overpaid Wilder
in the Breazeale and Fury fight and can't afford to secure his fights any longer.

When i said that to you as a reason why Wilder should have took the Joshua fight you dismissed it. Nice flip flopping.

It’s just common sense and simple math. The guy generates next to nothing, yet they are claiming he’s making big figures.

Even Spence who generates decent money and is also a PBC fighter doesn’t make the money they claim Wilder makes, lol. That alone should tell you it’s BS. They just put ridiculous figures out there for negotiations with AJ.

must be some kind of tax scheme where haymon can claim these losses and get reimbursed. subpoena his taxes!

they already claim he's the heavyweight champ. the average idiot viewer doesnt know what undisputed means.

Wilder has the heaviest replay value.
