actually no i am not, not even in the slightest to be honest.
I'm not English nor American,i don't have any stakes in this race.
I just observed Joshua the whole fight and his demeanour since so much was made of his mental state , i didn't like his reactions in instances when they were going to exchange and i reported here what i overall thought about it,
i don't deny he outboxed nor does it make me made wouldn't know why, but he hasn't convinced me at all yet,
    that's my honest opinion

Certainly, no one wants to see excessive clinching. Personally I didn't see it as excessive but I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that.

I will say that Klitschko, Lewis, Holmes and even Ali were not above a bit of "jab n grab". Lewis has been one of Joshua's most strident critics so it'll be interesting to hear his take on it.

      • As you know Wilder turned down 120 million to make 4 vs a guy he was certain to beat. Why do you think that was? Serious question, no right or wrong just your opinion.

Imagine the old great heavyweight boxers doing that.. it wouldn't happen, when lennox got knocked out by rahman he didn't come back to win on points..

I guess they just don't make boxers like they used and you guys seem to be okay with that.
Great post. The only guys that are okay with it are the "usual" suspects who believe that Joshua is Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, and Muhammad Ali all wrapped in to one. I had the choice a few months ago to purchase tickets to the Charlo card or stay home and watch the Ruiz/Joshua fight on DAZN. I made the right choice and enjoyed a night of live boxing in Brooklyn. Just finished watching the Joshua snorefest. What a joke. You get knocked out and embarressed and then put on a so called "boxing" clinic? I ran in to Adam Kownacki last night and wished him well in the future. With all of his flaws he always puts on a show.

" Facts are nice" when they fit your narrative. As "you" know Joshua turned down a one fight, no rematch clause 50 million dollar offer. Why do you think that was? Serious question? No right or wrong, just your opinion!

i don't know i didn't follow all the 150 post threads made during the height of the Wilder Joshua frenzy.
However that was big cause Wilder might go to DAZN so i do know something about the particular instance your talking about,

              My best guess would be
              Loyalty to Haymon/PBC
HE wasn't happy they didn't tell him how much Joshua would make.
On top of that Haymon and PBC probably made him big promises money wise,
the truth is probably somewhere in the middle of all that.
i however think he should have taken the money and went

To survive a fight you make it to the end without getting knocked out. To win a fight you have to do a bit more than be on your bike all night.

                Sadly for you both Wilder and Fury make full use of their height and reach to survive but also in Fury's case to out box them (just as AJ did to Ruiz) and in Wilders case to land the big right. Though in essence they to are on their bike avoiding punches;

AJ was called a Robot, he was called slow he was called chinny he was called out for his poor stamina; You must be impressed that he even showed up with all those weaknesses and he won the fight by boxing.
You do not win a fight by playing to the other boxers strengths.

Wilder, Fury AJ all good in their own way and their big advantage re height and reach is not there so much when they face each other; so maybe they are all wary of each other.

Glad we’re in agreement, that’s the difference between Joshua and Lennox!

Lewis would’ve taught AJ all that he knew but AJ mistook Lewis’ stern tough love guidance out for jealousy and hate!

                  It took a super team
Combined effort plus a 22 foot ring and a hands on ref for AJ to beat a morbidly obese Ruiz who didn’t train hard!

Glad some people are finally waking up to the truth that Joshua just isn’t that good, he’s a good fighter but he’s not what they hype him to be!

                    • Joshua boxed, but he looked terrified doing it. That dude wanted no parts of Ruiz.
