I guess failing drug tests doesn't mean as much as it used to.
Now Whyte is cleared time for the WBC to give him his shot.

Americans don't want their #1 heavyweight knocked out by the UKs #3 heavyweight.
That's all it comes down to. Same reason they were happy for Deyonce to duck Joshua on many occasions.
They see it as a UK/Hearn vs US/Haymon thing. It's really weird. It's like they're insecure and they must support Haymon even though he's bad for boxing.
Us boxing fans just want to see great fights. I don't give a **** about which promoter/network/nationality comes out on top.Comment

No i agree 1000% with you. Anyone opposed to this fight has insecurities about itComment

I'm not opposed to it but I'm also not buying into the nonsense that he "deserves" the fight with Wilder.
Parker "deserves" a rematch with Whyte. Fury deserves a rematch with Wilder. The fans deserve to see the winner of Wilder/Fury 2 fight the winner of Joshua/Ruiz 2.
Why doesn't Whyte fight Parker or Pulev or even Ortiz instead of crying all the fking time? Saying over and over again that Whyte has a great resume doesn't make it so, any more than saying he'll fight anybody, which he clearly will not.Comment

This is my view. Im not opposed to it either, but people acting like this is the IT fight are on the other end of the spectrum. They ONLY want it to happen because they think he can beat Wilder and if wilder beats whyte they would discredit the win. Its a vicious cycle.I'm not opposed to it but I'm also not buying into the nonsense that he "deserves" the fight with Wilder.

Deserving has nothing to do with what you want.I'm not opposed to it but I'm also not buying into the nonsense that he "deserves" the fight with Wilder.

He's been number one ranked forever. He's mandatory. Silver champion. Interim champion. He's been been paying the WBC fees for every fight.
The rules say he gets the shot. He deserves it.
And it will be a good fight!Comment

The Silver Champion?! Wow! I didn’t know, well of course this fight is priority then. Sorry, I had no idea.Comment
