    Ruiz weighs 284 lb WTF?

How? He was doing interviews saying he lost weight a few weeks ago. Said he was going to be in his best shape ever, but now is fatter than ever?

He's cashing out, it's Buster Douglas all over again.

    I just read as much

Andy Ruiz Jr., who weighed in at a fleshy 268 before beating Anthony Joshua to win the unified heavyweight title in June, has ballooned to 283 pounds for Saturday's rematch.

I find it hard to believe and would like to see if others could confirm this?

I assume he wanted the Joshua camp to believe he was coming in lighter to throw off their gameplan. Bit late for changes now. Ruiz is looking to either do damage or sit the **** down....I reckon.

I'm guessing it wasn't planned for him to come in to the fight even more obese though?

Only two things here. He is either looking to cash out, or he has bulked up to go right after AJ and make him remeber that last two or 3 rounds immediatley. Hope it it the latter.

Turns out it's too late to get the money I bet back, so I'm just going to have to pretend that everything is going to be okay... I was hoping for about 250/255

I was hoping for 240 to 245 or so , a little quicker.

The short camp before the first fight, actually helped him because it didn't allow him time to get fat in between fights. He had to stay training. Now, with more time to chill in his big house and eat all the food he wants, we see the effect on him. I remember a couple of months ago when his trainer was mad at him for not coming into training sessions. But of course they spun it later by saying that Ruiz was now magically in the best shape of his life hahah. The funny part is, guys on this website hate AJ so much that they are trying to say that Ruiz putting on more weight is a GOOD thing and it helps him beat AJ hahahah. I said this fight will look like Lewis vs Rahman II and I stand by that. But by coming in at 283, it may look more like Buster Douglas in his first defense hahah. Oddly enough, buster Douglas was 15 pounds heavier for his fight with Holyfield too.

ruiz did not gas or had problems with his gas tank in the first fight so why would this be any different? he'll be even more stronger and and prolly take aj's punches better now too. only time will tell.
