Good point. I think maybe he knows AJ will be more fluid, quicker , so he may be figuring why not bulk up and attepmt to push AJ ON HIS BACK FOOT AND STAY IN THE POCKET WHERE HE HAS A CLEAR ADVANTAGE WITH HAND SPEED AND ACCURACY.

Why are AJ fans looking to gain so much confidence from this?ha ha
      Let’s stick to the facts.
AJ can’t fight on the back foot
      AJ is not Lennox Lewis
Andy Ruiz is not Joseph Parker
Ruiz has come into this heavier as he knows AJ will at some point have to close the distance and Andy will be waiting...
I’m a fan of both fighters but Aj was FORCED into this rematch.
He looks like a deer in the headlights.

I think Fight of the Fatties... Whyte vs Ruiz would be pretty cool. =P

I am blown away that he came in over 280... wow.
I expected him to come in just a 1lb or 2 less than last time, just so they can say... "see... we trimmed down."

        But 283.... wow.

AJ vs Ruiz 3 coming in 2020.

Ruiz is a disgrace. He'll still beat AJ again tho.

So when Ruiz gets beat we won't hear any excuses about weight from all of you.

                You certainly will from me.

I mean respect to Joshua for doing what he needed to do but Ruiz hasn't given himself a fair chance here.

I cannot stop laughing at all of the posters who are saying that it's OK that Ruiz is coming in 15 pounds heavier hahahaha. you guys act like he is Butterbean and this is a 4 rounder hahaha.

I remember reading this article and thinking that Ruiz is living like a fat cat while AJ is like Clubber Lang from Rocky III before he won the title. Ruiz went on TV shows, met the Mexican President, bought a big house and cars, had a big birthday party. He was nowhere near the gym haha. Now, he will pay heavily (pun intended)
