Observers, in the run-up to this fight all suggested that Ruiz fights better heavy, and many advised against losing weight for the rematch. As mentioned, Ruiz does have a good team behind him, so there may be some advantage.
Still, 280+ is HEAVY

This is a strategic move by Andy to get a third fight by losing this one.
No one will pay him like a Joshua fight will so he can relax and lose and get the third fight paycheck where he comes in lighter then.
Brilliant strategy!
Make a bunch of money for not worrying about weight.

He put some weights in his pockets or something.
No way he's going into the biggest fight of his life in the 280's.

But this is the strongest I've ever seen him look. He's looked like shlt most of his careeer and he still performed well and won. This isn't even andy's heaviest weight. I remember him coming in at 290 once.
This is the best I've ever seen andy look. He looks powerful.

Ruiz is in big trouble with AJ coming in at this weight.
This is the weight he was fighting at earlier in his career when he was just eating dudes alive.

It would have helped if we could see dem tittays but too many offensive tattoos. Ruiz will be fighting with a white t-shirt on tomorrow
