Comments Thread For: Joshua Much Lighter, Ruiz Much Heavier For Rematch

Looks weren't deceiving. A noticeably lighter Anthony Joshua indeed weighed in at 10-plus pounds less Friday for his rematch against Andy Ruiz Jr. than he did for their first fight. England's Joshua officially came in at 237 pounds for their second bout, set for Saturday night in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.

Andy Ruiz is a modern day Buster Douglas, enjoyed the Joshua win too much.

He was talking about coming in at 260 lbs lmao.

If Ruiz controlled the center of the ring last fight, imagine what he does tomorrow.

Ruiz has proven the ability to throw bombs round after round. Joshua has not. 237 is great for Joshua, but we have to see how this actually plays out in the ring.....is he drained? Will his power carry? Will his cardio actually improve??

Let's not write anyone of just yet. Fascinating matchup....what a way to close the year for boxing!

Has Ruiz been partying too hard or is this weight gain on purpose? AJ needed to lose a bit of muscle and is probably the right weight for this one.

It’s so obvious Whyte is a drug cheat. It’s actually laughable.

I'm with you. I have no idea what's going to happen but I'm looking forward to it.

WTF... No way it's strategic move for Ruiz to gain 15lbs of fat... He's getting sparked, Joshua looks all business and Ruiz looks all cheesecake factory.

Ruiz baited Joshua in a trap... AJ fell in it... Too bad...

Ruiz is making a mistake coming in so heavy! It's bullshet! If he looks slow and sluggish and he loses then he has nobody to blame but himself!
