  • The reason why Wilder's power is less impressive to some

Do you think Wilder's power is less impressive than guys like Mike Tyson or George Foreman due to the fact that most of his fights are actually boring until he lands that right hand KO?

With Tyson for example even before he landed his KO he was an interesting fighter to watch duck and weave and peak-a-boo and then he landed the shot/s.

With Wilder is it that he's got no foreplay before the KO, so that takes away from the enjoyment of his fights when he does land.

I mean... This is like reaching lol.

The reason Wilder is so devastating to begin with is because he is frail, long, and awkward. You truly never see it coming.

Just the thought in the back of your head that at any moment he can put you to sleep when you least expect it is genuinely scary. Other guys are much more predictable.

I still feel as if fighters are not intimidated or afraid of Deontay Wilder outside of the ring 'Where as fighters would probably be crossing the road to avoid past Mike Tyson' Wilder has all of this power, but Dillian Whyte would throw him on his toes outside of the ring.

I'm not one of those who besmirches Tyson's opponents but even when he fought cans time to time, Tyson was must watch TV.

I've just trying to get a read on why Wilder hasn't broken through despite all the KO's among a lot of hardcore boxing fans and the general public as well.

lmfao, you cant say ever than any fight of his are boring, its like watching a game of Russian roulette

Hes in the top league for power with any man in history, it really is intense, which supports my theory that Randle Bailey is teh same boat but because he never beat the top guys it was never credited.

just remember b4 Deontay fought anyone good he was just a can crusher and that power seemed more impressive than it was...not true

That being said Tyson could blast people away with more speed in combination, and with any punch be it a loaded jab, upper cut right hook straight whatever

Tyson has that intimidation factor that was marketed really well meanwhile deontay Wilder in order to be intimidating has to look like a super shredder. Tyson also looked the part; muscular thick strong mean looking and Wilder is a tall dude with chicken legs.

Tyson fought his fair share of cans too.
