Nah man, it’s Top Rank that makes things difficult. Almost every promoter has stated that Arum is difficult to work with. You see how PBC let Ruiz go after Joshua? Crawford also had the option to jump on to PBC, but he chose not to for whatever reason.

Every other promoter and manager has chosen Top Rank over PBC to sign their fighters. There is nothing preventing Crawford from fighting a PBC fighter. PBC doesn't want to make the best fights possible. They want to create a walled garden with their own titles and keep everything in-house.

This isn't the case. When Crawford was perceived to be the bigger earner, Bob said there wouldn't be a fight unless it was a PPV. Then Crawford did the khan PPV and it bombed. Spence fought Mikey and it outsold Crawford/Khan by over 125,000 units.

That isn't PBC walling Crawford out that is Arum blocking the fight when he had the bigger earner then being forced to change his stance when it became clear that the bigger earner was on PBC.

Maybe Crawford made a mistake in re-signing with TR. If you are in Crawford's camp you maybe should've considered other options that would allow you to get the fights you want.

Crawford-Spence only makes sense if it was PPV. I don't see what's wrong with Arum's statement. Having two PPVs with mediocre buyrates doesn't make Spence an overwhelming A-side. Crawford is still by far the most recognizable and most accomplished fighter Spence would have fought. He wasn't even the overwhelming A-side against Mikey and Porter. Both those guys got paid close to what Spence got.

Crawford is a free man. He shouldn't have to be strong armed into signing with PBC. Disrespecting and diminishing Crawford isn't the best way to show you're interested in signing him.
