I think its clear if the pbc welterweights wanted to fight crawford they would. Nothing prevents pbc fighters from fighting others outside pbc.

Andy Ruiz is a pbc fighter is is making millions fighting Joshua because he wanted to fight Joshua.

Wilder is a pbc fighter and fought Fury becuase they both wanted the fight.

Crawford has been vocal about fighting pbc guys. I think Danny Garcia even rejected an offer from Crawfords team. Shawn porter has repeatedly said he doesnt want to fight crawford in interviews. All Spence says when Crawford is brought up is that he has other fighters to fight on "his side of the street." So i believe these just a tip of the reasons people think pbc welterweights are ducking Crawford. Im sure theres a ton of other reasons people believe pbc fighters are ducking Bud.

Yeah I'm sure he will try to "Luis Ortiz" the situation if talks start to heat up but Kenny and Shawn might not feel like waiting when they can get the Crawford fight now and even more lucrative opportunities if Porter wins. I mean what can Haymon offer for big money? Errol Spence in 2021 or Danny Garcia a fighter he gains nothing from beating? At least with the Ortiz situation Haymon had Wilder to dangle and I bet Ortiz regrets the hell out of that decision right now. That's the difference with Kenny being there, he wont let someone hold his son's prosperity back just because they want to further their own agenda. Look at the resumes of the top WW’s in PBC and compare them to Crawford. No way are they afraid of him and they are all fighting each other. Crawford stands no chance against Spence and might not even be able to beat Danny Garcia or Porter. He’s the weakest of all Welterweights. His name doesn’t hold any weight. He’s an HBO hype job that they oversold. Look what happened to Golovkin, now he’s getting slapped around. Same **** will happen to Crawford.

And LOL at Golovkin being a hypejob that got slapped around. Last I checked, that hypejob has a draw and razor thin, 1 round loss to Canelo, who is Top3 P4P and is almost a decade younger. As for getting slapped around, last I checked there were many parallels between Spence-Porter and G-Derevyanchenko. The difference between the two fights is that Golovkin went through 2 wars with Canelo and is almost 40, while Spence has been cruising along and is not even 30 yet.

My argument is that Crawford knows that it’s hard for Top Rank and PBC to work together. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you should know this. Crawford knew that PBC had all the welterweights before signing with Arum. I’m really sure that PBC guys will fight him. Danny Garcia, Porter, Thurman, and Spence have all fought each other. You’re telling me they are going to be afraid of the guy who’s only beaten Jeff Horn in the division? Arum knows Crawford can’t pull numbers so against any of these guys, Crawford might not make Arum as much money since the promoters have to allocate the revenue based on popularity. Crawford might be able to reel in Porter, but Arum might not agree to a 55/45 split with Haymon.

Because you seemed to forget Porter was the only PBC fighter that entertained on fighting Crawford. The moment Porter said he would fight Crawford after the Spence fight , Crawford immediately went it to make contact with the Porter clan and began negotiations.

You also forget that Arum offered Danny Garcia 4 million to fight Manny + PPV when Manny was still on top Rank and Danny turned it down to fight a no hoper for 1 million.

Why are you ignoring those facts just to create a narrative?
