Hearn sent the contract on a Monday. Finkel asked for clarification on two points and said they were prepared to sign by Friday once those two points were clarified. Hearn then went with the Povetkin fight. Hearn never wanted the Wilder fight next. He publicly admitted he preferred the Povetkin fight first. I don't know how any reasonable person could believe that Hearn wanted to do the Wilder fight before Povetkin.

Wilder signing with DAZN would have brought some fans to DAZN, but not enough to do the kind of viewership he can do on Showtime. Showtime has existed for decades and has 25 million US subscribers. DAZN's numbers aren't anywhere near that and there's nothing that's going to change that any time soon.

Not all showtimes subscribers are for boxing and you're not worth talking to if you gonna dispute the generally accepted figures.... again.

I'm not dis*****g the Nielsen figures, I'm simply explaining what Nielsen figures are. They track people watching Showtime on cable and satellite. They do not track cable and satellite subscribers who chose to watch on other devices via Showtime Anytime and they don't track the 20% of Showtime subscribers who get Showtime without a cable or satellite subscription.

You have no idea what AJ's filed purse is. Those numbers are never released. So what is the logic in comparing the purse numbers his promoter spouts to Wilder's filed purses? What was AJ's filed purse in New York? Amazingly, we never found out. Wilder was guaranteed 20 million for the Ortiz fight, but his filed purse was a tiny fraction of that. If you knew Joshua's filed purses, you'd likely find they are a tiny fraction as well.
