Could you please enlighten me as to why you believe Anthony Joshua to be a PED-user?

So--muscle is essentially dead weight, in your opinion?

What does the body use to carry muscle (or fat)?

If anything it will deplete your cardio as more muscle mass requires more oxygen and leads to faster build up of lactic acid in your system.
So, if I want to perform as many reps as possible with a dumbbell of a given weight it is advantageous to strengthen my shoulders and triceps, but if I want to run a mile faster it is disadvantageous to strengthen my legs?

          What sizes have you been?
I was 6'4 290 all fat. Then I was 250 all muscle. I did lot of cardio at both weights. One when I was trying to lose weight. One when I was trying to cut weight.
I've now settled on 225 because I feel better when doing cardio and overall.

          Just my opinion.

yes you are lying or mistaken . you have to take chemicals at that age that your body DOES NOT MAKE ANYMORE to gain muscle mass. if a 50 year old guy can go into a gym to gain muscle mass without drugs why the f#ck would a 23 year old guy need juice? why do body builders in their 20's use it if they can gain muscle without it? you are insane

OK why do people use PED's if they don't need them? why do pro body builders use juice in their 20's knowing it will kill them if they don't need it? do you realize what you are saying?

Nobody “has” to take anything. Gear increases the rate/efficiency u build muscle. Muscle also uses up calories to be maintained, so added muscle can help u lean out. So anyone who wants to add muscle faster than they normally would, might consider it right? It’s that simple. Pro bodybuilders are trying to add muscle each year, so it makes sense right? lifetime natural u can keep gaining muscle into ur 30s if uve been consistent, with training and food, course u gotta eat more and train heavier as u go. The muscle starts to compound on ur body, u get stronger, hence lift more, hence ad more muscle. Ur natural test starts to decrease, and it’s the law of diminishing returns sure, ur not as efficient as u once were, but it doesn’t mean u can’t still gain size and strength. If u were geared up in ur 20s and then do the same routine in ur 30s but with no gear, no one expects u to be as muscled. Ronnie Coleman made it to his first Mr. Olympia natural. So when he took gear it’s no surprise he became the most muscular bodybuilder ever. I don’t mean to blast you, but don’t we all know how roids work right? Added muscle also uses up ur energy and oxygen in sports, so without increased cardio vascular training on top of things, u can run out of gas faster.

You are mistaken. The adaptive response to exercise does not disappear with age and there have been many studies on the elderly demonstrating this; if you are interested in this subject I suggest going to Google Scholar and searching for "elderly weight training" (without quotation marks), "elderly exercise", etc. Here is one link: *** https://scholar.google.com/scholar?h...+elderly&btnG=

Obviously, strength and lean body mass will decline over time among both sedentary populations and among those who train, yet if--for example--an untrained, healthy 90 year old begins a well-designed and executed resistance training program he or she will typically double his or her starting strength within a few months--in the process adding a significant amount of lean body mass. An interesting talk: https://********/o80sOqB_Q4U

Anabolic steroids and other anabolic agents can allow a trainee to 1) gain muscle mass more quickly than would otherwise be the case, 2) gain more muscle mass than would otherwise be possible, 3) recover from exercise more quickly than would otherwise be the case, 4) tolerate more exercise than would otherwise be the case, 5) retain more muscle mass while dieting than would otherwise be the case, etc. For these and other reasons they are very helpful to boxers and other athletes.
