If he did beat the count then there was no need to wave it off. He was knocked down with about 6 seconds to go - round was over.

If a guy is 4 or 6 rounds up, clearly, then you let him have the minute to recover. You see it happen all the time. Should Wilder have been waved off in the first fight? He was talking punishment that would stop a fight if it wasn't for being the final seconds of a round.
I couldn’t hear sht either??? And that was weird??? It also looked like Bayless started on 4??? I was watching his hands and it went 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10??? Odd he wasn’t even calling out the numbers???

That was just odd??? I’ve watched a lot of boxing but that was just weird? They didn’t even ring the bell? They stopped at like 2 seconds???

And there was another one I need to relook up where he stopped at 5 and then screamed 5 and put his hands in the dudes face. Then counted really slow...

Point is he didn’t even look in Ortiz eyes and I’m gonna rewatch see if he was even looking at the glove???
Dude...Ortiz body wouldn't obey his mind. Watch his neck after the knockdown. Then he is on all fours at the 10 count with glossy eyes.

If Ortiz was "completely fatigued and [dead] tired" at 7 rounds then he would have lost anyway. Ortiz has a terrible style matchup for Wilder and he is too old to take it to the cards. Kownacki and Martin would be good fights if he stays at PBC.

Dude seen a ghost when he hit the ground and was in another dimension. Good stoppage, he could’ve gotten for real hurt if it continued.

He had his hands up defending well for the first 6 rounds. He got complacent in round 7 early on & was dropping his hands repeatedly & Wilder saw it. He just missed him a few times with the big right & then caught him late. Ortiz was NOT perfect for 36 minutes & the minute he made a defensive mistake he got dropped. Wilder was NOT nervous or in any trouble whatsoever. He stayed patient & waited for his chance. It was a boring fight & I had it 4-2 for Ortiz going into the 7th. Wilder picked it up early in round 7 that he was no longer keeping his hands up so he went for it...
I agree with you that Wilder definitely deserves his top quality scalp on his mantle,BUT he looked very very vulnerable & ripe for the taking yet again if Fury or someone else is capable of figuring out that right hand & nullifying it entirely for 36 minute's.(easier said than done I know but hes far from unbeatable still because Fury survived & so did stiverne who could've won if he wasn't rubbish as Ortiz showed yet again Wilder can be beaten if Ortiz had a better chin/engine ; Holyfield said he gets concussed easily before the fight) And Yes as you said Wilder should be called the guillotine because he decapitates mofckas til they feel blessed to be alive afterwards with time, Fury feels blessed in hindsight to not have died,& Ortiz likely will in time with his fat retirement nestegg.

When a fighter goes down its not just about them being on their feet before the count of 10. A fighter can be on their feet before the count of 10... but ref has to continue to check if the fighter is fit to continue the fight these include checking the eyes of the fighter, seeing if the fighter responds to verbal commands its not just about being on your feet before the count of 10. Moving on to Luis Ortiz you could even see the time the ref was at 9 and Luis Ortiz was trying to get on his feet or whether he got on his feet on time (whatever) he was still visibly disorientated thus the fight being waived of. I mean none of us know what is really in another man's head but as far as I know Wilder is from an average middle class southern family, son of a pastor, sounds like he was raised well. A man from that background shouldn't want to kill someone just because he legally can in a sanctioned fight. Other than it being shocking and attention grabbing and getting people talking about you, why would you want to live with that?

My point was we dont know how he would react. How you was raised means nothing when it comes to that. It depends on the individual

Ortiz doesn’t have a terrible style matchup with Wilder. He beat Wilder in almost every round of both fights he just got knocked out by the hardest one puncher in boxing history twice. If anything it’s the other way around (Wilder has no chance of winning a decision without corrupt judging against Ortiz).

IDK??? Maybe I should just stfu and the fight is over?

I just spent $80 and felt he could of made it without such a fast count? Again try counting with Bayless and it like he skipped 1-4? Ortiz he should of said come to me and asked him a few basic instructions. Then let the doctor look at him in the corner between rounds?

                      Was it fast count YES!

Was it a bad stoppage No!

Was I mad spending $80 and blinked it was over??? A lil
