I noticed at the time that Ortiz looked ok to continue but as usual horrible ref bayliss(I literally was on here before the fight saying what a shtty ref Bayliss is & he stopped the fight at 1st opportunity when Wilder had lost every single rd)
nah... watch the 7th round again. What did Wilder say before the fight? You need to be perfect for 36 minutes against him. Ortiz was near perfect for 6. He had his hands up defending well for the first 6 rounds. He got complacent in round 7 early on & was dropping his hands repeatedly & Wilder saw it. He just missed him a few times with the big right & then caught him late. Ortiz was NOT perfect for 36 minutes & the minute he made a defensive mistake he got dropped. Wilder was NOT nervous or in any trouble whatsoever. He stayed patient & waited for his chance. It was a boring fight & I had it 4-2 for Ortiz going into the 7th. Wilder picked it up early in round 7 that he was no longer keeping his hands up so he went for it...

in war... both soldiers are just doing their job, just like boxers

in war... both soldiers know that they risk health/life, just like boxers

the bottom line is pretty similar if the subject is... coping mentally with the death of another human being, at your hands

the only real difference is... in war, you intend to kill the opposition... in boxing you only want to bash them so brutally that their brain bounces off the inside of their cranium... but not kill them, oh no... that would be unthinkable

some soldiers are changed as people when they take a life... some do it for years, with no second thought

pretty sure that jesus hates war just as much as he hates boxing

Pretty sure a bloody boxing match where a guy is paid millions and some poor lad in the desert thousands of miles from his home getting paid 30k a year is not the same thing

One is an entertainment sporting event the other is groups of people shooting at each other

How is this so hard for you to understand lad they are not even close to the same thing.

Christ by your logic a lad that works as a bricklayer is the same as a boxer because they both have jobs they might die while doing

            I don't like Bayless!!!!

Kenny Bayless is a very overrated referee. My stomach turns whenever I see he's officiating. He's borderline biased and dirty. He's always in the action. He doesn't let boxers box. He gets more camera time than boxers. He can't wait to stop a fight - especially for the favorite. While I believe the count was was fair....even in Ortiz's favor, Ortiz was on his feet by 10. The round was already over. Bayless could have extended the fight if he wanted to......but he stopped it.....hmm🤔

I don't like him. I hate seeing him officiate big fights.

Ortiz got a 13 count before it was waived off. Go watch it on YouTube and look at their counter. Fk that sore loser.

That was the fastest count it was like bayless was rushing it just to wave it off. There was a few seconds and Ortiz could have held. Bayless sensed ortiz was winning on the cards.

Ortiz's ego is struggling with the KO.

"I felt the count was fast...count should have lasted 155 seconds more until i remembered where the fck I was..."

Yep. Last time Ortiz claimed Wilder hit him in the back of the head... this time Wilder made sure to put the punch right in the FRONT of his head.
