let us know when someone pays you 10 mil to make a BMYeah we know, it shows. You can talk up the ungodly power until you're blue in the face; 2 seconds of excitement in 20-40 minutes (the rest of which usually consists of Wilder being outboxed to varying degrees) does not in any way translate to an "exciting" fighter in general. He's basic and boring as **** and I have bowel movements that are more interesting on a near daily basis; deal with it. Aside from blindly allegiant PBC ***wits, eeryone else seems to have a pretty good grip on what they're looking at and are appropriately underwhelmed.Comment

But that happened when Tyson was fighting at unification level. Everyone else got knocked out.
You could argue that Wilder has stepped up once at that kind of level, versus an ex Champion in Fury. Didn't get the knockout and deserved to lose.
We need to see him at unification level. Fighting champions - not guys he claims could have been champions but never proved it
The problem he'll have is that if he doesn't get the KO, he won't be able to grind out the win... unlike the proper boxers he's being compared to.Comment

That's why they put him in with sickly or old men or pillow punchers. That's why you never seen a wlad fight or Parker or AJ or Whyte to fresh and too fit.

As a boxer he's going to be outclassed against many of the top fighters in the division, but his speed and power is exceptional even when you look back in history.
So his strategy is as far as I'm concerned, spot on. Basically he sucks, but he's not human so he can win with his cheat athleticism anyway.
And it's definitely entertaining to watch. The excitement of the impending knock(down/out) that can happen at any moment keeps me engaged. It's the polar opposite of watching a guy like Lomachenko or Mayweather who are brilliant boxers and make everything look good for 12 rounds.Comment

I think its quite an interesting approach, however i don't think it will age well. He is looking and awaiting for very specific moments, pulling the trigger on only specific moments will get harder and harder as his reflexes fade. Sure he will have the power, but if he's not throwing any kind of volume to increase the likelihood, I think you see him losing a 12 round decision as his first loss.Comment

I hope he boxes more in the fury rematch, it’s not easy to land that 1 big one on fury so he is gonna need to set it up. Just use your damn jab and footworkComment
how did you figure out that was my old username?
