He started gaining attention after Ortiz fight, all thanks to his inability to take risks earlier in his career.

He's for real old school, and it's a really old gameplan. He wins wars not battles.

Take a look at Marciano's Phantom Overhead. It requires giving away rounds. It's a technique and gameplan whether you like it or not.

I don't think Wilder is that skilled but its hard to argue with his mindset. I liked what he told Dan-he wins fights using his style not trying to be textbook.

If it were me training a fighter, I would prefer he have more skill, defense and ring IQ. That said, Wilder is right-what he has you can't teach.

What you expect him to say? He's not going to say he was trying to win them but lost them all is he?

You have to be perfect for 12 rounds, fury almost did it, not many of these current hws will, unless they catch him first... Wilder he seems more patient these days as well leaving less openings to get caught, but he can be hit so....

Fans hated boring techincal decisions now complaining about less technical knock outs, at the end of the day you all are going to complain either way, unless your fav fighter does it, then its amazing

In the heavyweight division, you can get away with that. This is what makes him great.

Scary thought. Wilder is a beast.
