"Im not worried about winning rounds"-Wilder

Interesting question from Fat Dan about what Wilders mindset was on losing the rounds.

He says he wasn't thinking about the fact he was losing rounds because he has what others dont have and that's great power.

He says he doesn't think about if he is winning the round because he doesn't want his mind to be clouded.

Also admits most guys do win rounds against him but he says he knows that sooner or later the KO will come.

All he has to do is land one bomb in 12 rounds.

Yea, it's been clear for years. One of many reasons he's not a great boxer, but it's very exciting to watch his fights.

Yeah we know, it shows. You can talk up the ungodly power until you're blue in the face; 2 seconds of excitement in 20-40 minutes (the rest of which usually consists of Wilder being outboxed to varying degrees) does not in any way translate to an "exciting" fighter in general. He's basic and boring as **** and I have bowel movements that are more interesting on a near daily basis; deal with it. Aside from blindly allegiant PBC ***wits, eeryone else seems to have a pretty good grip on what they're looking at and are appropriately underwhelmed.

In the fight thread someone Mentioned after the fifth or sixth round that wilder looked “lost and discouraged”

I don’t think I’d ever seen wilder look discouraged.

His flaws make him look beatable while his power and ability to finish keep him on top. He is thee prime example of a marketable fighter. Hopefully we see him unify soon and settle with Fury win or lose its going to be exciting.
