Crazy idea - you don't need to 'fix' fights in boxing anymore if you are an intelligent matchmaker.
Poll: Who Thinks the Outcome of Wilder vs. Ortiz II Was Fixed?

Fixed with a straight right from hell I'd say.
I'm not 100% Ortiz was quite the war machine that I'm seeing some make out, but he was still a legit top 10 HW which makes it a solid enough win in my book.Comment

Lol good one.
I remember when Lennox Lewis had lots of snake looking braids on his head and the commentator said it didn't look good to the judges when sweat flew off his head any time he moved his head even when he was avoiding punches.
Ortiz has no braids. That sweat went out to the bleacher seats. People in the first 15 rows got drenched.Comment

Wilder lost every round. Shorten the jab in that sequence to deliver the right hand off timing it.
Don't know why people can't accept what they are seeing.
From a fixed fight to the count was too fast too when Ortiz got up he was ok. All these excuses because they do not like Wilder and can't accept what they just witnessed.Comment

What was the third card? I’m not sure how any round could be given to wilder, even the seventh without the knockdown would have been an Ortiz round (although that was the first round wilder actually started and Ortiz started visibly looking tired)Comment

The fight was not fixed! The real problem is that there are a subset of fans who thought Ortiz had a chance. Ortiz's best chance was in the first fight before Wilder had him figured out and while he was younger. There was no reason to play it back. It takes Wilder some time to set himself up to land those big shots when a fighter is tricky but when he does it is lights out. Ortiz is older and hasn't improved while Wilder is getting better.Comment
