Smith got exposed as expected, it was going to happen at some point. Benavidez would beat the ****e out of him. I'm English but this 'let's just support the guy from my own country and let all sense of reason go out the window' thing is ****ing ******.
Grow up and be logical not all emotional and ******.

Awful cards. The bad cards accentuate the robbery. 115-113 or 116-112 Ryder. If we saw 115-113 cards it would be 1 things, but 117-111????

Smith did get a gift.
However he was up against a squat, super motivated southpaw who produced the performance of his life and dragged Smith into an inside fight and was unlucky not to get the nod.
Ironically, I believe that Smith would be a stylistic nightmare for Benavidez who fights at length with wider punches.
It would be a great fight and be a great exposition for the 168 division

We see how it isn't the most difficult thing to get past Smith's jab, but Canelo has an even shorter reach than Ryder. He'd be giving up 8 1/2 inches. Not to mention Canelo is orthodox, which the southpaw stance I think caused Smith more problems than he was anticipating. Like I said, I'd still favor Canelo, but fighting anything like Ryder isn't the most feasible outcome.
